We'll be game. More tournaments in this state the better!!!

However the xballs been tried b4 and i don't see it being successful, but then maybe the communities grown enough to support it. Not sure id put all my eggs in thta basket. 😉

Regardless can't wait to play those events.

Send more info as you get it.

I'm interested in more information on your 2006 tournaments. I run www.idahopaintball.com and have a team that participated in the UXPL last year. My team and several other Idaho teams like to travel together to Utah and Idaho tournys. I will post any information you send me and would like to welcome you to join our site and promote your events there.

Thanks,
Rusty Arrington

Thanks for your comments derek. I totally agree with you, and thats why we are changing the X-ball play format just a bit 😉 We have been thinking of ways in which this format would work in Utah and we think we MIGHT have come up with a good solution. All of which will be posted here in the near future.

I agree with the "dont put all my eggs in that basket", and thats why we are going to do the "Top Gun" Tournament, and another tournament that involves the use of multiple fields at Velocity. (This is for the pump, and mechanical gun users). The "Top Gun" tournament is for anybody (and whatever marker they shoot) that thinks they got what it takes to be the best.

Pump

Love the idea of pump and mechanical only events. however not sure you have enough players who will give up their electros

not a matter of giving up electros. more of a matter of getting a pump or mechanical.

From Velocity 2........
They won't have to Derek...The 5-man skirmish events set for next year involve 2 divisions:
1st division - Mechanical/pump - SPPL format - multiple venues, timed events.
2nd division - Unrestricted markers - multiple venues, timed events.
These events are over and above the 5-man X-Ball and are still being planned and the dates set up.

On the X-Ball tournaments Derek....Velocity will be flexible in the months that come. As we continue to receive input from the players and Velocity Board, and we won't hesitate in making changes when necessary.

Thanks Derek

Input!!!

We thank you for the input on the tournaments everyone. One of our goals in tournament organization was for the players to be able to pick their style of game, plan ahead, save their money and be excited for next year. We have players who were ready to sign up yesterday!
This is great!

We realize that we will not be able to make everyone happy and have the perfect tournament to do so.....However, you will be able to pick and choose the game that fits you the best. At this time, we have the unique opportunity to energize paintball in the communities.

Velocity Paintball is here to represent the players, save you as much money as possible so you can play more, help other organizations involved in paintball, and also to make money to pay the bills.
The more you support these goals, the faster paintball grows and expands in this state.

Velocity Paintball is making the change to become a multi-game facility. Scenario Games, Woodsball Tournaments, Airball Tournaments, group parties, and family paintball attractions will become the mainstay future at Velocity Paintball. The support we have received this year has been great. In fact, roughly 1 out of every 10 players at Velocity this year have been new players. Keep it coming!
Keep the ideas coming....
Much Thanks!

pump xball.....doesnt taht defeat the purpose of the fast and intensity of xball. what the hell were u thinking, if tis bring your own paint then just make it unlimited im sure if u buy paint in bulk from a store they will be able to cut you a deal.

I would try to set the classifcations as soon as possible, to see where certain players and teams rest.

😎 local teams and X-Ball

X-ball is an exciting and fast paced game. The only troubl I see is that the local teams may not be able to afford the paint. If your team is eliminated early. Yeah. But the further you push into the tourney, the higher the cost. Maybe a bring your own paint x-ball would be good. But post what types you allow.

I also agree that the classifications would be helpful if they are out soon. I know of atleast one team interested in the X-Ball format.
