the weekend of xps their was a team in mao for the psp
and nppl is coming up

also lots of teams here are small so you need to break up other teams to fill the rosters and thats how you get less teams and the other torneys taking some players as well

Fuzzy u r so special. It has to do with money, isn't that why u quit? XPS is the least expensive tourney we've had in Utah for a long time. X Ball is a lot of fun but not too many teams can afford 30 to 40 cases of paint for one weekend at 45 to 55 per case, unless they could bring their own and use paint sponsors, which only a few teams have. But then the price of admission would have to go up.
We need to come up with ways to keep the cost down so everyone can afford it and support the XPS.

Fuzzy, you are a retard.

Anyways back to discussion, XPS is a great series. Im not saying this just because I am affiliated with it. I was saying this last year when it started up.

Ive seen alot of animosity towards the xps and sometimes 7 man. I really wish it would stop. People have taken steps towards making this series the best in can be. Rules in place, differences put aside. I just wish others could follow suite. It just kills me to see utah paintball divided.

1 team at the psp shouldnt really have hindered the registration.

With uxpl gone, this is all we have left. Dont let it fail please.

my 2 cents

There have been many valid points made in this thread. Similar to "big oak's" post finding 2 guys to compliment an existing 5 man team is a tougher task than one might think. It has been my experience that it is very difficult to find someone who "knows how to play" to even get up to 5 players. Aside from the members of the existing top teams, the "pool" of "somewhat serious/somewhat talented" xball players is quite small (as observed in slc). We hope to play in your next 5 man and I truly hope the XPS series continues! Thank you!🙂

From what I understand XPS is not an XBALL series. It is a NPPL or XPSL type of series. I know the Hill Paintball Association (HPA) is going to be hosting a XBALL type series. From what I understand and from what I have heard XPS is doing a great job and I cant wait to see how the rest of the year turns out. I wish all the best to XPS and to there future here in Utah.

Braden & Z find another thread to work out your differences.

EGO13, I'm on the same page as you, I was under the understanding that this weekends event was a XSPL feeder event. XSPL is played like NPPL, so what is all the talk that no one can afford an XBall or PSP event.

The only thing that i can see that might have been a problem is that XSPL is a BYOP event and this was a field paint only.

Like I said, I don't play this style of paintball so could that have been the problem??😕

XPseries, whats your opinion?
