โ ATTENTION!!! XPS 7 Man Attention: Due to the lack of SUPPORT and INTEREST this weekends XPS 7 man series is cancelled. We only had ONE team register for the event. We posted and asked if the paintball community wanted a feeder series and wanted to be part of a National Series and the vote was 75% yes to do it, yet again we have one team registered. We do want to THANK the Pro Center for allowing us to use there indoor field to train and certify 23 NPPL ref's. Please remember that on May 24th we will have the 3 man National Syder Event. You must register within the next 7 to 10 days. Utah we need 12 to 15 teams, Rookies here is your own Tourament !! Then on June 28th the XPS will continue with its next 5 man event. Also if this event also shows little interest and support then Chris and myself will have no other choice but to close the field and the XPS for good. We have tied very hard and spent 10's of thousands of dollars to bring not just a Class local event but also a venue for National Events. The XPS prizes are equal if not better then the XPSL, both Chris and myself are open to ANY suggestions that you may have that could better the series and keep it going for all of us to enjoy in the future !! Thanks

Oh man that really stinks, only one team?!
I don't know what to suggest, maybe with food/gas/stamps/utility/house/etc. prices rising combined with low Utah salaries it's just tough for some people to afford it right now? Also, 7-man teams are obviously harder to put together since you need more players. Is Utah paintball shrinking when it should be growing? I stopped playing last year because I couldn't get a team together nor would any team pick me up. Cost or time wasn't a concern for me, guess I'm just a crappy player ๐ . I remember that our local field would have 10-20 players every Saturday. The numbers dwindled lower and lower to the point where only 4-5 of us were showing up. Anyway I'd like to get back into tourney ball, but I don't want to spend $1000 on equipment only to not end up playing.

If players get pissed at the end result of this they should hang themselves. It is the players in Utah's fault that something with such great potential...like a regional sized tournament...had to end because PEOPLE DONT SUPPORT THEIR LOCAL SERIES!
Paintball is dying. If you want to still see the sport a year from now you need to play your local fields and your local series. ๐ฒ

This really does suck. This is the only real tournament series in UT.. if we let it die we're going to be sorry.

WOOOOOTTTT!!!! I was part of the one team that registered too!!! Come one guys this is a chance for all of the Rookies to play in a LEGIT tournament that DOES NOT allow for SAND BAGGING!!!! In the past other Utah series allowed for Sand Bagging, but not the XPS. They go thru great lengths to make sure that the players who register are of the right classification.
Come on UTAH support your local series, if Utah supports its local series it will only get bigger and better. Chris and Craig have been putting so much time, money and effort to make this a series centered around the players wants and needs, they are not in it to make money like other series (NPPL, PSP, XPSL, CFOA) all of the money that players pay for entrance and paint goes right into making things better. What other event can you get paid CASH when you win right on the spot, have nice netting around the field so friends and families can view their sons, daughters, husbands and wives. Play on nice ground with nice air bunkers, fair reffing, full 4500PSI air fills, and a BBQ that makes nice FLAME BROILED BUGERS (ORDER UP!!!). If any players out there want to play and dont have a team, PM me or call me and I will get a team together for you to play on. Just because you dont have a team to play on right now, does not mean that you shouldnt play, this is the funnest series I have ever had the chance to play in, and I can promise you that you will have fun too! Much LOVE!!! 801 Represent!! __________________

This is an on going battle and if the players in Utah really want to have the best series to play in then they better start getting there stuff together.
We have better venues then the XPSL. (noted for anyone that went to Vegas) For all those players that were going to play in the XPS there will still be a huge practice at noon. So still bring your teams, air $10 all day $35 a case for paint. Cant go wrong with that.
