Velocity Paintball and the PSP have agreed to an "affiliation". This affiliation is a multi-stage event, leading to a point system and Velocity Paintball becoming a PSP "feeder" in a very short time. This short time will allow for teams to form, to adjust player and team classifications, and for Velocity Paintball to set up all logistics and operations. It doesn't end there! It just gets better!!

We ARE NOT a feeder right now... its that simple! I dont know who set up this thread and stated "psp feeder" but it was not us.

I just want to make sure that is all clear. We are TRYING to set up all logistics and operations. Does that mean we are there yet... NO, but we are trying. Is there any other event in Utah where the refs are all "certified"?? I dont think so.

the uxpl has a pond that you can swim in and the mwxpl has that huge river that you can swim in what does the velocity have were people can swim?

addicts i dunno why you guys are bitching about reffing cause you make horrible shitty bull shit calls when you ref the UXPL too. Velocity put on a good, fun xball tournament.

Dan, I don't know if you noticed, but this thread wasn't started by an Addicts player, and there are plenty of others in here voicing their opinions as well.

I wasn't there, so I have no opinion of the Velocity series--but, as with ALL tournaments, lots of people have opinions, and no one is going to agree with all of them. As a promoter, I understand that, and take the constructive things from it, probe the validity of the complaints, and make changes as necessary.

Someone will always complain about something, and, no, it isn't always the losing teams (the winning teams are the ones who usually have the most valid complaints)

So, I would suggest to all, instead of simply pointing fingers and complaining, grab the rule book, point out valid errors, but please, do it through pm's--I guarantee they will pay much more attention to you when you aren't whining on a public forum. I know I would!

I also guarantee that these guys worked their butts off to put on this series, and yes, there were probably some bumps in the road, if there weren't then it wouldn't be a tournament series---it would be rec ball.

So, instead of bashing them publicly, thank them for their efforts to advance paintball in Utah, and save your critizism for private conversations with them.

Same goes for you, Dan, instead of whining about something completely off the subject, send a pm with specific examples....instead of coming on here throwing rocks.

im not throwing rocks just saying you shouldnt bitch about something you do yourself. We all know what its like to ref and telling these guys that they are horrible because they made a few bad calls is just being hypocritical because you dont make the right calls everytime either.

im not saying the reffing at the UXPL is shitty, its pretty good actualy. im just saying bad calls are made. But thats how it is in every tournament. And coming in here and totaly bashing on the reffing of the velocity xball and saying it was horrible is retarded. Every tournament your going to have bad calls and getting on the forums and whining and bitching and telling people they suck at it doesnt change anything. Everyone sees the negative and only talks about the negative shit. Sure bad calls were made but there were also good calls too. Im not trying to start anything just...well let me go jesus on you guys "Let he without sin cast the first stone." Theres constructive critisim and then theres flaming. Most of these posts are just complaining and saying it sucked.
