Hmm, I can see how that would get people confused. We will have to make that more clear on the website. No worries though chad, that is a weekend rate---its a combined rate for friday and saturday. You play all day friday and all day saturday for $25 bucks. The daily entrance fee is always $15 bucks if you plan on only come for one day, and will include 2 free air-fills. So it actually saves people money if they plan on playing on friday and saturday.

I should also mention that we will also sell paint by the 500 rd bag. For those who just dont shoot as much paint.

Why don't you go to Lone Star and have them cook the stake you bought at Albertson's?

Answer: It is all in the cost of everything to pay for the cooks, garbage disposal, building fees and taxes. Like DarkAlliance1 said it costs to run a business. With that comes dues and it is a part of life.

Probably $12 for 500 rounds

You have to buy paint somewhere it might as well be from the field and Keep a High Quality field operational. Insurance is also less when you control the paint. $40 is cheap for paint any way you look at it..... So I guess I dont see the hang up with BYOP. Local Players need to keep thier money local so we can have fields, events, Scenario games. Why support Wal-mart ??

We fully realize that the players in Utah have NEVER seen a first class field. We realize that most of them are accustomed to playing Outlaw (No Safety, No Insurance, No Referees, No Organization, No Restrooms, Tresspasing in high visibility areas)

While Outlaw play is cheap it has contributited to the negative stereotypes about paintball, and created a "Fringe" perception to the great sport of paintball. We hope that players will see the value in supporting a great field and enjoy having all the things they need close. As we talked to occasional and former players about 85% of them said they would play more, but "there is not place to play".

We also hope that a First Class field will make paintball more accessable to the general public, your friends and co workers are more likely to particiapte in the sport if they know there is someplace safe, reliable that they can go and get help and support.

For the type of field we are designing you would pay $25-35 for Entry and $60-80 case in other states.

VELOCITY is one of the BEST deals in the country for what we offer

I couldnt agree more with what Allen has said. As paintballers in this state, we need to ask ourselves one simple question--- Do we want this sport to grow?? I can tell you that it is not going to grow by playing at outlaw fields.

I am grateful for the fields that we have now and have tried to be successful in the past, but if we want it to be a stable field then we need to do as allen has said and support the local fields that are trying so very hard to bring more players to the sport of paintball, and keep the money WITHIN paintball and not wal-mart. I have talked to many people about this and they WANT safety, rules, refs, etc. They also want the sport to look professional. We will have a really hard time achieving that status by using outlaw fields and trying to pinch the penny.

Allen is right about the costs,, I play in florida a lot and I can ALWAYS expect to pay a minimum of $20 bucks for entrance and a minimum of $50 bucks for field paint, + extra for air. ((on fields that are half as good as Velocity will be)).

Dont get me wrong, I am glad that outlaw fields have continued to "sustain" the sport, but I feel its time to really make an impression in this area and get the sport to grow.
