You've declared a boycott on all MWXPL events due to the mistake of 1 or 2 referees in a single game in one event of the entire season?

I'm certianly very new around here, but I've spoken to the referee(s) that were involved in making that call. They both expressed regret that the calls made may have not been perfect. No referee is ever going to be 100% accurate on every call. Mistakes happen. People are, of course, human.

Things like this happen at the highest level of competitive paintball. It's something that every tournament player will experience at some point.

It seems a bit rash to be so condemning towards people who were doing their best to provide a fun tournament.

the refs have been bad consistant not just one of 2 calls but the hole season the only refs that have done good is the goat refs and a couple others they are just scared to admit their mistakes.

This time was just the final straw. I agree with ethen on this, I played the april and the august event, and at both events, the reffing was very inconsistent and overall at both events, the reffing was bad. And from what I saw at this event, it was just like the previous ones. In august, the reffing was so bad that it was basically the crowd running the field. I'm sorry, but them boycotting the mw is their choice, and I support them in it. The fact is that the mw needs to either find new, experienced refs, or train thier refs so they know what they are doing.

They are not being scared. The only person who knows that they made a mistake is the ref who made the call. By not admitting their mistake, and standing behind their call, they are doing a very good thing. Once a ref openly admits he makes a mistake, and says it to a player, or says it loud enough for a player to hear it, he will be questioned on every call he makes. This will lead to pressure, and the pressure could then lead to more bad calls. You can see why standing behind your calls is not being "scared".

I think your wrong on this goldberg, if a ref admits to me he's wrong, I'm a lot cooler toward him and I judge his calls less because he understood he made a mistake, so he will not do it as often. If a ref screws a game of mine, I feel a lot better if he apologizes and admits he made a mistake.

then your a nice guy. i personally know many people who would make a ref second guess everyone of his calls if he openly admitted he made a mistake. There are those times though were its just better to let it go like you said.

the refs being scared to admit their calls and not being honest is a huge thing.

last mwxpl yougn guns robert got pulled when he was not out and he could have shot 2 or 3 guys they were grabing the flag. and then we go talk to the refs about it and than the douchebag sais that he never pulled his armband and it just fell off and that roberto pulled it off wich was bullshit and all the other refs saw it and they said the ref pulled it and the ref just kept on being a bitch.
