Be glad they gave you some slack, the new rule is xpsl is if they catch you with bounce your guns pulled from the tourny and you sit 6 games. They can do anything to find the bounce if I have been told right.

^ True that. That's why i wanted them to check people for bounce. However I think that a bouncing gun should not be allowed in the torunament if caught and the penalty should only apply to ramping because as adam said sometimes bounce happens and the player doesn't even know about it.

i find it interesting that some people are trying to listen to how fast a gun is firing on the field, and not focused on playing i watched some of these young kids playing and they can really get those fingers flying. It is my feeling that some people might be worried about nothing. i thought the reff situation was good. there are always things that can be worked on and improvements made. my team didn't make the finals fyi. thanks to all that did their best. thanks to the reffs thanks to allen and thanks to all the teams that showed up to play thats what made it a great event all the good competition. my team had a great time and enjoyed playing with every one. i hope to see every one back in june. 😎

what team were you on, and I wasn't trying very hard to listen for ramping it was fairly obvious from the sidelines, but I can see how it would be hard to here when reffing.

I still stick with my original comment.

The reffing was fine, the only thing I would like to see is more refs on the field. It is hard for the refs to watch two or more players and when one asks for a paint check and the other guy gets hit and decides to try to get away with a little more shooting until the ref watching him looks his way.

It was a good event and lots of fun.

I have to agree with Krow, more ref's would have been nice. They were short staffed, and therefore missed calls. They were also not very patient when I tried to argue a call. I did as I was supposed to and waited til after the game, and went up in a calm manner. As soon as I opened my mouth, he got all fired up and sent me on my way. Kinda dissapointing. I could have easily proved my point, but oh well. We had fun anyway, and are looking forward to the next events.

I will stick with my comment on page 1. Field 2 head ref sucked. I have a hard time seeing it any other way. I know that it is a thankless job, but its still a job that can't be done half ass. I am not the kind of a guy that makes a big deal of something, unless I know its broke.

I also have to agree with Panic about the ramping guns. It was really pretty funny to stand on the side lines and watch the guns ramp. Its gotta be almost impossible to know that a gun is ramping unless you can single out that gun on the field. So to be honest I think that the refs did what they could considering.

I overall wasn't disappointed in the the refs as a whole. Most did a damn fine job.

Ozma........... Do you honestly think that we believe you? I understand you trying to save face and all, but come on you knew it was bouncing. Your post did give me a good chuckle though hehe.

no dude i had no idea. i really didnt if i did. i would of said hahah suckers i knew it was bouncing the whole time and you still let me play. what up no suckas. but i really had no idea you can ask me whole team and family cause when it bounced when the ref tapped it. my heart dropped and i almost crapped my pants cause i thought i was gonna have my spot pulled. and alll i was thinking is how the rest of the day would be with me on the sidelines. and that all flashed through my head in like 5 secs.

but you cannot prove that anybodys guns were ramping, yes everyones guns were fast and it may have sounded like they are ramping but they very could not have been, thats just how guns are nowadays
