i would like to thanks all the refs. even the ref for head ref for field two. and for the ref that got the best ref award i thought thats was cool cause you were also my favorite ref.

The faces you remember are from the adrenaland 3 man (which only our b team placed in and none of those players are still on our team) and we completely reformed our team. We have 1 novice so we are legal.

Oh okay then. That would explain where I saw them. Adrenaland, and if I remember right 3 man events don't count for 5 man events.

THANKS! I tried to be as fair as possible, and catch everything. For those of you who disagree with ozma, LET ME HAVE IT. Instead of having pent up feelings about me or the rest of the refs, let's hear it. The only way I am going to get better right now, is if I hear what I was doing wrong. I didn't see any other refs post, so here I am, your whipping boy.

Since you said you want feedback I'll give you some. Most of the refs were great I only have two complaints. There were tons of ramping guns that weren't caught. If you listen to the guns firing it is a steady rate of fire. I also noticed that many of the penalties weren't enforced. Like when a bouncing gun was caught I thought you pulled a player and removed points, but I don't think that happened to any of the teams with bouncing guns (I'm not sure though). I don't get mad at refs if they miss something or aren't paying attention because it's impossible to see everything, but things like ramping and pulling penalties for playing on can be caught and should be penalized. That's my .02. I just think maybe the refs should know the rules better or something.

thanks for the update jason. i think that the reffing needed a lot of work. they pulled a one for one on my team, cause supposedly one of players palyed on. we have the whole thing on video tape, and our player went out when the ref pulled his armband. also, refs need to get input from other refs on run throughs, instead of just immediately pulling both players.

I tried to watch for ramping, as well as everything else at the same time. The fingers I watched were right on. I'll work on it though. As for listening... when you are in the middle of the field with guns all around you, it's not easy to hear a single gun. I will keep it in mind next time. The gun we caught bouncing, we pulled the gun and the player was allowed to get another one. On the one-for-one incident, I didn't see it. I was after someone else on a paint check. Sorry no input on that one.

Red thanks for being cool about this. Most people get all pissed when you give them suggestions. I see your point about having guns firing everywhere. As I said technically in the rules if a bouncing gun is found after the first game I think the team has to play with 4 players the rest of the tournament I think its a little harsh, but I also think you should stick to your own rules. Again thanks for being cool.

well when they took my gun and caught it with bounce. i didn even know it could do that. because the night before my whole trigger frame was in pieces because i was trying to get to bounce out cause it had did it at practice once. so after i thought i got it all out. i would walk it the trigger and it wouldnt bounce so i thought it was fixed. and i was super happy then at the tournment. when they checked for it. they slapped the back and it bounced they didnt even touch they trigger. so i didnt think of slapping my gun when i was fixing the bounce the night before. and i think the refs knew it was not on prepose so they gave us some slack. and red you are the ref that pulled me for leaving my hopper behind right. not that i have anything against you. just wondering if i am thinking of the right ref
