sick of "upped ions"

I'm not saying the Ion sucks. Its a great deal for the money. If I was just getting into tourney ball, I would probably buy one. All I'm saying is I'm sick of 11 year old punks saying their Ion is "just as good, if not better" than my Ego. Fuck that.

It seems like ion owners, offering them for trade or sale, seem to add the price of all thier upgrades, and the price of a new gun, and assume that is the value. No gun is going to be worth what you put into it, if you buy the parts and gun new, and most people seem to understand that. It just seems that most of the people I see trying to upgrade put too much value on thier upp'd ions.

I have an ion for my wife. It's light, it shoots well, and pretty fast (clamping feedneck, QEV and blade trigger upgrades), but I don't think it's going to fetch $250 on the used gun market... something a lot of ions owners don't seem to grasp.

I get 250 and more.......but thats just me and Justaddwada guns are all preference I shoot what feels good and does my job decpite the price and considering the facts My "upped" ion I have chosen over many of egos/pms/freestyles/angels/aliens/quests/and timmies....all of which I have Either owned or had the offer to own....
