it maybe plastic but it works a hell alot better then a chocker and that being said. there is nothing plastic about my ion and all of you that want to bitch about a gun, my ion gets more shots pure tank full then your 1000 dollar guns and lighter o wait i think i only spent 500 dollors on my gun damn looks like my cheap gun kicks the shit out of our dm6s and egos

And MK, your ion is no longer an ion, it is basically a gas efficient dm, plus it has to actually have plastic parts to be in the ion category, so yours does not classify as an ion any more.

I understand the frustration with some ion owners that think they're gun is the best there ever was but to some people like myself, its the best i could afford and still be able to buy the rest of the gear i needed to play. That being said I've enjoyed replacing almost all the parts affecting performance on mine with after market ones. I still know its always an ion but so what? Yea i've spent a quite a bit of money making it how i want it but I like it.

I dont think anyone is saying that Ion's are not good guns. They are saying that Ion owners looking to upgrade always offer "Upped Ion's" for trade for much higher end guns. I like Ions I had one and want another.
