I just sold my 45/45 Online...I am almost positive you dont require to detach the reg from the bottle...But just to be sure do you need to take the tank reg off?

When I sold my 45/45 about 1 year ago, I didn't take the reg off. Not sure on what the official law is but I didn't.

No you dont have to fez, if it's the one you had in the original box, you just need to package it and ship it, so special things to do.

Ya you have to take it off. I dont know about the original casing thing BJ was talking about (sound right), but I have always had to take the regulators off. And if you dont take it off then that means your tank is now a bomb and you are a terrorist.

I thought you only had to remove the reg if you were flying with the tank. I have bought, sold, and traded a couple of tanks, and I just shipped it with it all attached. That is also how I recieved them.

Ship UPS and you don't have to take it off. I shipped 2 tanks with them and never did.

you only need to remove regs, when they are flying with you as checked baggage. the only thing you need to do to ship it, is make sure it's empty
