Addicts

As we all know Addicts is the best place to play paintball in Utah. It is fun, run by good people, and has a wonderful field. I personally love to play at Addicts. I have been wondering why Addicts cost so much to play. I looked at one field from 25 different states to see what it cost to play there. 22 of those states were cheaper than addicts. The majority of paintball fields in the US charge 15 - 20 dollars field fee and anywhere from 35-50 bucks for paint depending on what brand you buy. Addicts makes there money on paint. Unfortuately it is way more expensive for players. This is part of the reason that there is sooooo few paintball players in Utah. I have played at many fields across the US on walk on days. They are packed! Utah is the first place that i have played at where they charge little field fee and a ton for paint. I think and a lot of others think that Addicts should change it to 15- 20 dollars field fee and then have atleast 3 different grades of paint to choose from. A cheap grade 35-40 bucks, medium 45 and high 50. This really would be much more affordable on players. I know Lisa your thinking but we will be losing money. I think that MANY more players would play on a regular basis if you do this. I have seen kids with their parents walk into Addicts and there parents told them it was to expensive so they walked out. The monday, tuesday, wednesday and friday setions will actually have 20-30 people at them. I mean this in a good way Lisa. I love your field and the way it is run but i think Utah can catch up in the paintball world. Before you immediately say no to this idea think about it. It would benefit the players termendously and it will benefit you because your setions will be filled up and you'll be making more money. Once again i mean no offense to Addicts. I have just talked to a LOT of people and this would help them tons. Please consider this idea for we can bring Utah paintball back to life!

That is exactly the problem Too many people are closed minded. There is more woodsballers here than any other state pretty much. I played in a neighborhood woodsball game 2 weeks ago. 30 people had guns just in my neighborhood. Where did you start out playing. Most if not all tourney players start playing paintball in the woods! Exactly my point Utah has a ton of potential to be big. It is the prices that is holding them back

A higher entrance fee willl not make more people come. If antrance were 15 I could not afford to just come for alittle bit and shoot a bag. In order to make going worth while you'd hav eto shoot a case each time you went to even make it cost effective. I played at Sc village in cali and it was 25 to get in and 10 for all day air then 35 for crap paint. In order to even make it worth it I had to shoot a case. I would much rather hav e ahigher paint price then entry for sure. This is just my opinion though. I love addicts pricing right where it is personally.

If you cheat against me this is what I'll do. I will stick my gun under your mask and ramp on your face for a few seconds to disorient you, then I will proceed to tank whip you in the nuts repetitively until you pass out in the middle of the field so I can wear you on my back like a buffalo hide and sneak behind the rest of your team.
What can I say I don't like cheaters 🙂

Conserve your paint....its rec ball u dont need to be taking out 4 pods a game. When i buy a case it usualy last me several times and that makes it a lot cheaper than if i bought a case for cheap and then had to pay 15 bucks to get in every time.

This is my first year, playing speedball on team ballistic. I love, tournament style play. But I have been playing woods/scenario for two years, and what kept me from playing speedball is the prices. This is what all the woodsballers are thinking and I saw it the same way.

Tourny Ball= 60 bucks per case a week. Monthly=130 bucks

WoodsBall=40 bucks for a case of paint at ballistic=Last you for the whole month.
(basing it on if you play once a week)

Thats the way I see it, and some kids that play dont get money from parents like many of you do. My parents dont support me in paintball so it is hard to find money for practice every week.

cheaper to buy a case and play hopper ball and have it last you a few weeks. When i play hopper ball i barely go through 1 of the 4 bags. so that 60 bucks can last you a month. It just depends on how u play. The people that go to addicts and take out a hopper and 4 pods are retarded. There is no reason to be shooting that much when its just rec ball. Even when we scrim teams well usually do pod and a hopper. Tourney ball can be cheap if u make it cheap...woodsball can be expensive if u make it expensive its just all about how u play.
