Looks like you are in a serious minority Derek. I personally saw his refs get paint. He didn't stiff them. . .as some of them have pointed here. I think Lisa said it best in the other thread where you were ripping on other Utah players that you can't see past your disdain for Craig and Rick. Further, the MWXPL didn't pick up the Summer Games to have another event. Craig went out of his way to get stuff to Cedar for the Summer Games so that it could happen after the standards that were ordered weren't delivered in time. Craig delivered at that event in a serious way. He did it for Utah paintballers and for the Summer Games. The Summer Games is an important event for Utah Athletes, having paintball in the Summer Games is a big deal, it gave the sport some credability at a State Olympics. I have recieved several calls from others who want to put paintball on the center stage in such events.

You have no room to diss on the MWXPL or Craig for that matter. He has done so much for the game in Utah. Without the work that people like him, Dale Price and others have put in paintball wouldn't be what it is today in Utah. The MWXPL even at its worst is the BEST event in Utah. Not to mention it has drawn players from all over the mountain west.

The truth will set you free Derek, not spinning the rumor mill. Trash talking is the WORST way to build a business.

Who's trying to build a business? Voicing an opinion is not trash talking when its something that is true.

To even compare Craig to Dale price shows how delusional you are. Dale single handly grew paintball from nothing here to what it is today...What did Craig do? hand us a crooked series?, teach and promote player how to cheat? Sorry i think you can save the hero worship for someone more deserving.

Apparently it is a matter of opinion. I doubt im a minority. i have listened to many players who have the same complaints i have, several from his former teammates.
And it doesn't suprise me that the guys running the summer games like craig, you guy both have something to gain from each other, like netting and air facilities.

Sorry but 801 was founded by people who wanted to voice their opinions about Craig, rick, Utahpb, and the mwxpl. They tried to control everything and what did it get them? A dead website and a soon to be dead series. People are going to voice their opinions and im voicing mine. IF you guys have such a problem with people talking about stuff like this go back to utahpb where its censored...oh wait you can't, no one will be ther to read it. Open your eyes.

If you love the mwxpl go play in it...while u can.

Derek

just a thought but can we please move this thread to the whine celler. There are bigger things going on in utah's paintball future then a possable dieing tourny and a team that made some mistakes last season. And I have to agree with derek just cause I like the guy.

I got your back D.

The uxpl guys are on an open forum and happy to disscuss the uxpl and/or problems you may have. Can you say the same for the Mwxpl?

Derek

i just find it interesting that i said something about the uxpl and my post was deleted... hmmm.
and i think its kinda lame to backup someone just cause you"like the guy". mwxpl is not a bad tourney, and its to bad you had a bad experience with it. im not gonna try and flame derek cause he is voicing his opinion, its his opinion, and he can think whatever he wants. i just think its crap that someone will delete posts cause they say the truth about a certain other tournament league. hopefully your view will change on the mwxpl cause it really is a very good tourny.

Not true you should see the pms I got from allen when I pointed out a few "flaws" in his series. These flaws weren't very small. I also seem to remember getting sworn at by a head ref for asking him to check the velocity on a player that shot a hole in aneoprene tank 🙁. I agree that Derek should get to voice his opinion although I think that the mwxpl was one of the best tourneys I've seen in Utah. I also talked to Craig for awhile and he was apretty nice guy and open to suggestions.

What can I say I don't like cheaters 🙂

Yes actually you can. It's called UTAHPAINTBALL.INFO, or go to mwxpl and email Craig. And yes there is nothing on this site about MWXPL because the people that run this site have a grudge or something on Craig and the MWXPL. So get your facts straight before you start saying stuff.
