👎 Why Allen Turner?, Why?

You wouldn't let Shawn play in the UXPL for what reason?

I guess you don't hold "equal opportunity tournaments"

Do you have a good valid reason besides your immature vendetta?

Well i just want to voice my opinion on this. I don thave anythign personal against allen or the uxpl; but i think the classification system is ridiculous. I understan his classifications can be bent to his desire, as in classifying players in different ways. The classification system for the Uxpl is a standard system. It varies regarding certain players here and there. The uxpl are ran nicely, with the locations and fields, but it would be MUCH better and would have many more teams and players enter if the classifications werent biased or based on experience. I say experience because it is different than years playing. For example, an un-named player hsa been player TOURNAMENT paintball for a year - This is his true novice 1st year. However, due to skill or talent or just experience as a whole, he is being classified as an Open player.

Think of it this way: If some person had been practicing with one of the best teams for about two years, and never played a tournament, in the uxpl he would be classified as Open. Actually we wouldtn know what he would be classified as because the UXPL classifications vary so much its hard to understand.

I along with many others just want an unbiased, STANDARDIZED system that goes by Player status (IE ROOKIE, NOV, AM); not a system that says "He is open, but the same person who has been playing the same amount of time is Nov"

IN ANY WELL RUN TOURNAMENT YOU WILL NOT SEE THE EVENT HOLDERS TURNING PLAYERS AWAY BECAUSE THEY DONT LIKE THEM, OR THEY ARE TOO GOOD, ETC ETC ETC

We are some of the players not allowed to play in the UXPL which is fine. I beleive that Allen is trying to promote the sport to newer players who are fairly new to paintball. It gives them a chance to play on airball fields in a competitive environment. I wish there was a true open division though for Nov/Am/Semi Pro or Pro. Its Allens event though and not mine so I guess he has his reasons for making the divisions the way they are.

In a way it is dumb, but this series is for the new players playing tournament paintball. But a true Open division would be nice to have so those who are more experienced can play, or those like Fez, Franky, etc. have to be on seperate teams in the novice division. But to turn away a player completely is truely stupid.

Wraith, Ballistic Ninjas, Headshot, and other teams play or want to play in my opinion (OPINION) should be classified as OPEN teams. This goes along with what Fez said. Giving the Novice and Rookie team slot divisions more spots for Rookie and Novice skilled players and teams.

just my .02 on the situation.

Like Krispy said if teams want to have players that are classified as open be in he open with all open players they should be able to, but the teams Krispy listed are all teams that to my knowledge are legaly classified as Novice so they all should still have there Novice year.
