➡️ Proto Trix I was wanting to get some input from you guys about the Proto Trix. Good? Bad? thoughts?
I have been spending the last few nights on PBN reading and looking and comparing. I personally think that they have HUGE potential when you factor in upgrades. If you were to get a Proto Trix, what would you get done to it? __________________

Greg,
Several of the local Players are Proto Sponsored (Bonebreak, Fury) so I have seen a few of Proto Matrix's and had some in the shop. With an upgraded board (Mushshi, etc) and trigger they are fast but stock is so-so performance. The issue as I see it is that at $950 retail there are numerous other guns that are strong in the same catagory. If you can find the $$$ the EGO at $1195 is my personal choice in that class and the word is the new FreeStyle Pro (FSP) is cool as well at $950. I have all these guns at the shop when you get back come on up and shoot them all and you decide. Either way I will cut you an Afgan deal 😁 My 02 is irrelevent if you like the feel of one gun over another.. __________________ -Allen Turner, Paintball Evangelist (ret) Owner Millennium Paintball Producter of Paintball Scenario Games Paradox Games Promoter Utah Extreme Paintball League Last edited by Allen Turner : 03-30-2005 at 11:03 AM. | |||||

The Proto Matrix is a great marker. With the Musashi 3 upgrade to the board they are extremely fast. Mine is fast out of the box after a trigger adjustment. I like it more than my Alias, and it was alot cheaper. I was nervous at first about getting one, but after playing a couple events and now that I have gotten used to it I love it.

I haven't had any problems with my proto since the "Break in period". It shoots so fast and straight, and some for sure upgrades would be like clamping feed neck, new barrel(CP, or UL), halo B, or reloader B, Musashi 3 programming.

see heres the thing, the guys at Tagsportz.com have been really good to me with all of the work they did on my marker.
They gave extended that offer to me for basically the marker of my choice. The perk for buying from TAG is that they give a Life Time Warranty with the purchase of one of their markers. They also give free Gold service once per year, and Silver service anytime. On top of that, they are affiliated with one of the groups thats authorized to upgrade the proto boards. Plus they deal in the lazer eyes for that "bling bling" Thats why I was wanting to do business with those guys. Heres my thoughts as far as upgrades go for the proto Predator Odin Lazer Eyes CP roller bearing trigger Stiffi switch kit no/low rise possibly some other things. I have heard mixed reviews on the EGO. thats why I was thinking of just getting a Matrix. I don't doubt that stock they may be slower then some markers. But, I don't want a stock marker by anymeans. let me know what you guys think __________________

you know thats a hard one to answer. I have held most of the guns out there. I guess I have never really handled a marker that I just could not stand. the space frame took a little adjusting, but i ended up liking it. however i still love the 45 grips what thread is that switch kit in and what length? __________________
