The issue as I see it is that at $950 retail there are numerous other guns that are strong in the same catagory. If you can find the $$$ the EGO at $1195 is my personal choice in that class and the word is the new FreeStyle Pro (FSP) is cool as well at $950.

I have all these guns at the shop when you get back come on up and shoot them all and you decide. Either way I will cut you an Afgan deal 😁

My 02 is irrelevent if you like the feel of one gun over another..
I play for fury and raiders and ive never said my gun is slow or that other guns are faster. My gun is fast as hell, its the best gun ive ever owned. Oh and at HB the most popular gun was the proto matrix and thats because of how well they shot.

arghh

man I can't wait to get this gat. You guys are making me crazy with anticipation. soooo close to coming home.
Do they make a aftermarket bolt for the Trix? I haven't really seen anything for it. Or is the stock gonna be fine?

I have been liking that new LPR that they are making for the Trix. its made by STD, theres lots of vids for it on PBN.

Anyone plan on getting one of these?

Haven't heard anything about the STD LPR, but i saw a pic of it on a proto, and it looks pugfuggly. But some things that you should think about upgrade wise are things like M3 for $50, clampin' feed neck, and either a cp, or UL barrel. I've also heard that bonebrake's in the process of makin' a new proto bolt, and i've also heard about an evolve for the proto, but who knows if their rumors or not.

STD Regs

Gregg,

I have STD regs in stock.. Right now they only have them for the Freestyles in production but soon they will be shipping the Proto Matrix Reg.

STD's are LRP with Pressure Compensation, no matter what your main reg pressure is the LPR reg stays stable...

Odin is a flash for the board like the M3

if you read some of the other posts you will see that all of those bases have been covered. I have all the accessories that I am going to get picked out.

I will keep my ears perked up in regards to the bonebrake bolt kit. However if there is little improvment to the gun with this new bolt kit I will just stay with the standard. Obviously they are a pretty sweet stock bolt.

I don't know how many pics of the STD LPR's that you looked at, but the pictures they show of the whole gun they aren't as much of an eye sore as the closeup implies. Not only that but if that LPR performs as well as its said to, you would be crazy not to upgrade. Everyone seems to agree that Protos only real lacking is a good LPR. So, I am going to jump on the bandwagon with these folks.

Allen, how have these LPRs performed on the Freestyles?
