^true dat paintball doesn't make money unless you own sc village. I talked to that guy who owns and he got the land for cheap a while back and now he charges 25 bucks to get in with hundreds of people every day. Also thats true about the sign stuff how would it be anyones fault other than the one that did the shooting.

Each player has a mind of their own and makes their own decisions. Some make better decisions than others to promote the sport.

I'm sorry you can't play in Herriman, it's bad for you and bad for the sport, but blame the RIGHT people. Find the people who shot the deer, cars, and houses.... blame them. The people that I knew to be shooting deer, cars, signs, etc don't even play anymore and haven't played paintball for years. And didn't even last that long when they did play regularly

I guarantee you that Dale and the Showdown staff were not the people shooting deer, cars and signs. We took every precaution we could to prevent that. Could it be completely stopped, obviously not. But we did refuse service to people we knew were shooting signs, which helped to reduce the problem because those peope no longer visited Herriman. But as I said, people make thier own decisions.

Part of our solution involved stopping and cleaning objects that we saw were hit while we were driving home for the night. Occasinally we even left notes on parked cars appologizing for the hit, noted that we cleaned it up and invited the owner to come play. Sometimes is worked, sometimes it didn't.

We attended hearings and organized speakers to educate people with regards to paintball. Yes we lost the hearings that involved playing in Herriman, but we were able to convince the county to not shut down paintball completely at the time. A lot of what Dale and his staff did in Herriman has made it possible for our current fields to be able to go into business without as much work.

Again, I'm sorry people can't play in Herriman but please point your frustration in the proper direction.

o ok thanks god we all needed that this is for people who wanna talk and say this or that and its an open foum you know free country dont like it dont read any of us smaller people with smaller minds will do what we like and not shop at store where people think they are better than us

We all fought hard for Herriman. It was a fantastic field, But the actions of a few idiots ruined it for all of us. Put the smack down on vandals!!

Guys I dont like to Mod, I have better things to do...

I would rather that people had enough maturity to not abuse and degrade this forum as a place to insult others Opinions.

If you guys want to run Smack Talk fine do it in this forum.

We created the Smack Talk Forum so that Arguments and insults were kept out of other forum areas.

We have never tolerated Flaming.

We want the 801paintball comunity to be Open to all Local and Regional paintball Players with pertenant information about games, fields, tournaments etc.

To be open to the community in general means that a basic level of respect for all users is needed.

I am human guys and occasionally I get irritated by things. I will try to be more toleratant.

If you feel slighted then I appologize and I invite you to call me at 801-544-9844 to discuss how to make things better.

At the end of the day all the little posts here and on the web are just a bunch or 0&1's...
