As for the Xps, to be honest there are some things that i do not like as it looks like it was designed to kill the uxpl (which was bad for utah) and create a place for tombstone players to play in their own events. For me its hard to support a event that places its own players or (strong ties to players) into these events. I expierenced this kinda stuff when i was with fury and i was always agaisnt that as it tends to create conflict and a bad expierence for me. Maybe i am wrong, i only have gone by what i have heard. And every event i have heard major complaints about reffing, not saying that whats true, just what i have heard, and that hasn't encouraged me much.

I haven't played the Xps, and i haven't said anything about it, I have heard good and bad, it really has for the most part just boiled down to time and money for me but since you asked i figured i'd answer your question with my honest opinion.

Hopefully now as Utahs only tournament series you guys continue to grow and improve your series, and maybe when i have more time we will give it a shot. PLease understand i am not trying to slander or bash you guys in any way just answered your question as straight forward as i can.

Agreed but im tired of being slandered by a team that simply is bitter because they cannot compete.

Honestly its nothing like that, Their is never more than 1 tombstone player on each team usally its 2 or 3 tombstone players that play in these events.

True. I don't have a problem with having one novice player per team, but I think it may scare away some of the super beginner teams.

This is about more than some Paintball drama. It's about respect.
All of the core players on Run have been around awhile. All of us have extensive tournament experience and most have been Pro at one time or another. Pretty much the team is a who's who of old school players from Utah.

For those not in the know Bad Karma screwed over RUN this year at the SPPL. They reffed the event and conspired in the finals to help the other team. We aren't talking just bad reffing here were talking out and out cheating. In addition one of our players ended up getting seriously injured. When we played that game it was only 4 or 5 of the real Run guys. Everyone else had to work or had prior commitments due to the late start time of the finals games. Even then we still almost pulled it off! I guarantee if all of the real team Run guys would have been there that game and the outcome would have been very very different! Even so, we let it go, congratulated the winners, and chalked it up to the SPPL format. (Don't even get me started on the SPPL format and some of the arbitrary scoring and rules they use.)

Well, then we start hearing about Bad Karma guys gloating about all the underhanded stuff they pulled. Now its gone to talking crap again. Obviously the dumb asses in question haven't figured out who we are and that we started in the woods long before before any of them playing real tournaments! Not scenario based wanna-be woodsball with airstrikes, generals, and regeneration. We love the woods and are all quite adept and lethal in them. We have played against some of the best players and teams to ever play the game. Far greater than anything an SPPL has thrown at us! Any ONE player of Run's core team is more than Bad Karma can handle.Yet Bad Karma talks crap and thinks we need to cheat to win? No irony there! We usually just laugh and ignore it all. However, every once in a while it does get old! We don't need to cheat to win we have plenty of skill to go around. I'm with Derek enough is enough!

I have played with Baf Karma on several occasions and they are by no means "honest" players either. Granted it is paintball and there is gonna be cheating. It goes on in every sport ever played. I'm just saying don't start accusing people of things that you are doing yourself.

Well stated. But I find that bad karma conspicious silence is telling of how they feel about it. Has someone contacted them to play?
