It truely is unfortunate what happened at Vegas. The worst part is they probably would have won without the cheater board.

it wasnt a cheater board, guns bounce without cheater boards, it is almost impossible to get the bounce out of e-cockers, so are you saying that every e-blade has a cheater board?

damn straight their guns were not set up to cheat. If they didn't get disqualified they would have for sure taken first place. Fury kicks ass, they could have used pumps and still won!

I talked to the person whos gun it was, the ref said it was an nxl gun and it shouldnt be allowed, they of course told the ref he was a dumbass, so the ref couldnt get the gun to bounce at first and eventually he turned off the eyes put some trigger sequence in and made it go full auto, so they got dq'd, then when they talked to the ref after he wouldnt admit to messing with the gun to make it bounce, the person who owns the gun did not even know it was capable of doing that.

His gun was shooting very fast legally though, for example one game in a minute and a half he dumped 8 pods, but that was before the reff messed with the gun and changed the settings.

I dont think it was a fair call at all, since the gun will not even shoot illegaly in a game, without the eyes on (and without eyes on gun = blender), so the ref that screwed with the gun needs to die

I hesitate to post on this issue. But the rumors are getting excessive.

Nate if you REALLY believe a Ref would take a gun and magically reset it on the field in split seconds and then magically force it to full auto to get a well known team DQ'ed......Then you can find some great conspiracy thoeries here...

Calling for a Lyncing of a Ref is out of line and wrong!

The gun that earned the DQ is a Strange Shocker with a Dynasty board installed, you can read about the board here.

The XPSL Rules are clear, if your gun "bounces" then you cannot use the gun. Disquaification requires that a gun goes Full Auto not just bounces. XPSL Rules PDF here.

FURY did appeal the to the Ultimate Judge and to Dan Bonebreak. The decision was Disqualification. From that time on all Shockers were thourghly checked for the rest of the event.

I feel bad about the situation and what happened to all my friends on FURY. However you need to think about this event with some objectivity and logic.

I belive what <edited> told me, the ref could not get the gun to bounce with the eyes on so he shut them off and did some trugger sequence to make the gun do that, that was straight from <edited> not from somebody who just saw it happen, but the ref even denied shutting the eyes of on the gun when the whole team watched him do it. There is nothing that can be done about it now, i just think that if that is what realy occured it is total bullshit. But since it cannot be proved either way the issue prolly needs to be dropped, whatever happended happened. I realize i am looking at it one sided, i apologise for that, but I only know what i am told

Nate,
I was just a bit concerned about your post on "Killing the Ref"

All I am suggesting is some objectivity, the old Axiom there are two sides to every coin. I have not talked to either of the parties involved. I hope to talk to some the the FURY boys in person and get the whole story before I make a judgement.

If the Ref was dishonest in how he handaled this situation then I would have hoped that the Ultimate Ref and Bonebrake would have given a fair evaluation to FURY. If FURY was given a RAW deal then I hope they choose to spend thier hard earned money at another tournament.

But this whole situation is exactly what we where discussing in the original Gun Cheats thread.
