ok me and a few guys were argueing about this today.we were argueing that if you put your gun on the ground and its gets shot and you pick it up your out right. well what if you stay in the 5 foot radiusand just sit there are you out or not?

why would you set your gun down....?

i think you would be out though cus its you or your gear. the only thing thats you dont get out for is if its a pod that you have tossed. unless the pod is in your possesion at the time of being shot.....

ya, besides, all you can leave behind is a pod or a squeegee. So if your hopper falls off you are out. (i think, its been a while since I've been in a tourney)

Most toruney rules only allow for pods, squeeges and similiar to be disposable equipment, meaning you can drop them and leave. If you drop any other equipment, most rules require you to pick them back up in a resonable amount of time.

The 5 foot rule is generally if you move away from the item you dropped. So if a hopper falls off and you move 5 feet or more away, you are believed to be abandoning the equipment and are eliminated.

If you stay within the 5 feet, then you are expected to actively retrieve your equipment within a resonable amount of time. The player is expected to retrieve his equipment as quickly as possible and if it isn't retrieved in a resonable amout of time the player is eliminated, this is usually up to the ref. If nondisposable equipment is shot while you are not holding it and you have not given it to another player, you are out.

Obviously each league has their own take, but I believe that is the general interpretation for the rules.

if you take your mask off and then your mask gets shot you are out it is the same for everything except pods and squegees

but if you take your mask off or put your gun down in the middle of a game i will have to slap you 😠

because once you pick it back up to use the gun/hopper, etc. it has a hit on it. you are out for having any kind of hit mark on you or your gear.

you are not out cause you haven't got a hit on you if your marker is on the ground and gets shot you do not have to pick it back up and use it.
