Ya I talked to spank last night, he said that the head ref, and two additional ref's were also fired for that bull S*it. Once we were out we packed up and started the drive home, I didnt get to stay and see the games, if I was there I would have been going crazy. And the NPPL is paying for all expenses for his back, he has to go to pysical therapy for a while now too.

Ok here is the skinny on what I was told went down, during the game, Brian went up the middle to the 50 and was hit along the way. The ref then called for a one for one and went to go pull another guy (Spanky), when spanky saw the ref make the call, he took off for the snake and slid in. Well the ref went wild and jumped on spanky's back with his knee in his back and pulling his arm back like the cops do to grab his band. Well when the ref got the band off, Spanky was not moving to get out, he was lying there motionless cause he couldn't feel his legs. Well then the ref grabbed spanky by the arm and dragged him to the sidlines where he sat until the game was over and the ref let his teammates over to take care of him.

Now I dont know if this is entirely accurate, as I didnt see it, the info I am getting is a combination from everyone on the team.

thanks for the information lisa and bj it is good that they take responsibility and pay for his medical attention hope he gets well and congrats to addicts that is the best ive seen them play i think you guys should have gone into finals if it wasnt for the bs calls on the angel field.

We didn't play the Angel field in the quarters. We played the JT and Bawls fields. But, there were definitely some, shall we say, questionable, calls.

i saw you guys play a game on the angel field it was a 3 on 7 or somthing and sammy and bj shot alought of people running to do oberg in the snake and then ryan got jewed on a call but yeah.

It was actually Bryson, Val, and me. Yeah we got kinda screwed that game, but oh well. It was in the pre-lims anyway, so in the end it didnt really matter. It was a fun tourny though. Thanks Johngo and Lisa and team. Good job, we played well. Good job to Tombstone too. Too bad Spanky got hurt, get feeling better buddy.
