also i think xball would be the best format for this kind of thing. Then a game would last longer and be closer to other high school sports.

We considered an xball format, but we wanted to play all the school teams each week not just a few. So we took a little from each of the popular speedball formats an created a new one that would allow 10 teams or more to be able to play in a reasonable amount of time each week.

There is more information being posted daily on the HawgPaint forums

http://hawgpaint.net/phpBB/index.php

As far as your club goes, most schools won't recognize paintball as a sport, but we still welcome teams that want to represent their school spirt without sponsorship...

I would really like to get the contact information for any teams interested in playing. Please get on the HSPL forum at hawgpaint.com and get me contact info through there. This will allow me to keep all the teams updated as to what is going on and send out all the paperwork that will need to be filled out when that time comes around. Getting this contact list put together will also allow teams to scrimmage/practice in preperation for the season.

"C.3 Markers

C.3.1 Markers must fire in semi-auto only. No double action triggers will be allowed"

As far as I understand, double action is reffering to Reactive Triggers on Tippmann markers (1 shot per pull, 1 shot per release) or any mode that fires more than one paintball per pull and release.

That was my understanding, I've always believed that spyder rocking triggers were illegal--I could be wrong, but who wants to play with a spyder in a tourny anyway lol......

due to some technical problems with the UHSPL forums, I've started building a UHSPL site and will eventually have a forum up. Currently the address is www.freewebs.com/uhspl.

Also, I need the contact information from all the schools, and any schools interested. All the information posted on the UHSPL forums is gone. 😠 Please e-mail me:
