yea i agree with what rob said.

and to add on i dont really like how the pm's feel compared to the ego. I dont know if its just me but i dont really like the feel.

are we talking about the stock from or UL frame? I held one with ul frame and didnt like it all to much, unless it was cuz the grips were rock solid hard brand new

but its all on personal preferance ill let u shoot my pm6 if u would like and i think the etek is kind of how angel does their gun how their is a angel speed a cheaper version that is how i think they came up with the etek but if i was u just shoot bolth guns and se wich u like the most.😁

yeah the etek is a cheeper version of the ego. only a few differances though. the big ones are no lcd screen and no qev's on the ram, at least i think its the ram, but i'll bet that you can put some on it. plus there's the different milling and a different barrel. i think that's all that is different on them though.

What everyone has said here is right... matrixes shoot straighter, and are much quieter. the etek is pretty much an ego, just a few differences. i have used both pm6 and egos, and i personally prefer the way the pm shoots. the egos air efficiency is superior though, if thats something thats a deal breaker. Both guns are super reliable, but i see more matrixs go down than egos. However, if you take care of both guns correctly and properly maintain them, they will take care of you in return. im a strong believer in the majority of gun problems are user caused. but its your decision, since its your money, either one is going to be awesome.

We have owned every high end gun out there with the exception of an Angel, and have used them all in tournament play. Hands down the Ego has been the most reliable gun we have ever had. We own 3, 2 private label and 1 06 Planet Eclipse. They are the only gun we have owned that you can literally just pass from one player to the next, one game to the next and NEVER have an issue.

Our Purple People Eater was passed between no less than 5 different players at the last XPSL, (it never sat a game!) and it worked every time they turned it on.

I can't say we have had the same experience with our PM5, PM6 or DMC's.

I would have to agree with Lisa. At the UXPL I saw alot of matrix's go down.

very hot conditions shooting alought of paint. when i read the matrix manual it says relube after every 1800 shots and if ur using good lube than u should be find i sugjest shocker lube but their isnt a problem with dye lube unless its in cold conditions because it becomes a solid.

Dye techs dont even use dye lube anymore... infact in their new manual they reccomended dow 33. good lube will prevent many oring problems with matrixes.
