ya HBK is exactly right I dont understand that controversy. Also as a ref, Id like to let u all know that there were few IF ANY calls that us refs werent confident in at the time that we made them and after. We really do do our best and all of us have repeatedly gone over NPPL rules so know that some calls are tough but all are made according to the rulebook in relationship to the occuraces on our (wonderful) UXPL fields. Oh And Nathanial and ALan all deserve our thanks.

as for the people bickering about the refs...stop and go to the smacktalk forum or somthing the refs did a great job they were getting shot more than the players and being in the heat all day and only getting 2 breaks i think they did pritty damn good so everyone just stop bickering i think that the addicts crew did great!

No inconvincience. The call was made, and your team thought it was a bad call. Both teams handled it completely well, for the most part. of course there is always one who cares for his team and gets a little bothered. Thank you players for handling things calmly. There were players who were frustrated with calls, but they approached them the correct way. Which in turn lead to resolutions and clarity. Players are 50% of the calls. Also, thanks for the props to the refs that worked hard. It is exactly that, hard. Props from players makes it worthwhile. Thanks.

reffing was great. every call i saw was legitimate. calls get missed. that's the way it goes. nathaniel was very cool when i did something stupid and explained the rule. on field 1 we had an incident that the refs were unsure about so they huddled around and made the call. it was against us, but it was a good call and they didn't just make a snap decision.

refs would all rather be with us playing. so as far as i am concerned, they did great. and until i am willing to get out there and do it myself i'm not going to complain.

the event was totally smooth. there were no long delays. it was a long day, but it went as fast as possible.

my team decided we could do without the quarter finals due to the long day, but other than that it was great.

thanks allen. great job.

Thank You Uxpl Crew And Teams!!!

First, a big thanks to the reffing staff of the UXPL this year. Not only are you doing a great job, but you're keeping a good attitude throughout it despite hot weather, countless hits, and not always the best support from the players. Props to you for your professionalism, good attitude, and knowledge/enforcement of the rules.

Second, thanks to Allen and the UXPL staff for all the work that goes into these events. It's a monumental effort to put on a single event, let alone an entire series, so thank you muchly for your dedication and for giving us a place to compete. It's very much appreciated.

Third, thank you to the teams for good, hard, and honest play. The level of competition this year is fantastic and it makes everyone play that much better. Every event is a toss-up when it comes to winners.

Lastly, thanks to Dan for the pictures. They look great. It's awesome to look back on games and see yourself from another perspective. Would our team be able to get full-resolution copies?

To all the players I enjoyed the day even though it was hot. The fact that players were calm and wanted to know what happened made it easy to explain rules to them and a big thank you to the players that took the time to thank the refs. It gives us good reason to up the level of our reffing skills.

that was a sick event. good feilds, nice grass, the best looking refs i have ever seen! The only thing with the big "dark cloud" in the game between Reloaded and Ballistic Kidz is that in the NPPL/XPSL rules, you can never reinsert a player after their arm band is pulled. But that is a relativley unknown rule anyway. All in all it was the first event i have been to that was on time. i was shocked.
