Another strange incident was a game with Breakout Kids. The team knew that they were not going to make the semi-finals. So a player from Breakout Kids left his armband on while in the dead box and after a few seconds, he re-inserted himself into the game. The refs immediately penalized Breakout Kids and the other team, Epic SCP, received 103 points while Breakout Kids got zero points. The kids also opened fire at the audience who were jeering them. Nobody was hit because of the nets, but it resulted in the stands being closed off for the remainder of the tournament and the complete disqualification of Breakout Kids from XPSL events.

XPSLs suck balls. never playing them again, so last game might as well ahve some fun. so one of our players ran back in and started shooting they of course pulled him. The only penalty they gave us that he was he was going to be suspeneded for the next 3 games.....last event....last game....who cares. And we didnt shoot at people booing us we shot at sammy, val, kellan all the people that were cheering for us and people thought it was the funniest shit ever.

oh and the refs didnt immediatley penalize us cause they are stupid and suck at what they do and it took them like 2 minutes to realize he reinserted himself. And we werent disqualified from all the events just a 3 game suspension for the player that was rad enough to do it.

Don't think just because you read an article online that you can talk crap on everyone else you werent there you dont know what happend. You should mind your own business. Okay, couple of things. First, Derek, I know that you dislike Rick Devey and Craig Munsee, but you really should realize that neither of them have ANYTHING to do with Breakout anymore. So your name calling etc. really is uncalled for. As is your passing judgement on these kids just because of the teams name.

Second, Dan, you really should learn when to keep your mouth shut.

Third, the actions of ONE, yes ONE team member, unfortunately are reflecting badly on the entire team. One 15 year old kid made a bad decision---and no one can tell me that you didn't make a bad decision at 15--if you try, you're lying.

The youngest kid on the team decided to be funny and re-inserted himself after he was shot. NO ONE shot at the spectators.

The only people in the stands were people cheering for the team, no one "jeered" at anyone!

Whoever wrote this article obviously didn't spend much time at the event, and got their information secondhand regarding this game, as most of it is untrue. And, there was MUCH more drama in other games. Like the guy Phil had to boot for calling positions from the sidelines, and the guy who was going to punch out one of his own teammates--on the field--during a game!!!!

So, before you decide to name call, please, take a minute to find out what really happened. And before you decide to attack the person doing the name calling, step back and think before you speak. In both cases, it will save everyone alot of grief and hard feelings.

As far as Breakout Kids being banned from XPSL, that did not happen, the player in question was suspended for 3 games if he plays next season. No other penalties were issued.

Get mad at Paintball.com. LOL If it isn't true then you shouldn't be wasting time here arguing you should be getting Paintball.com to retract their statement.

Regardlees what you say happened its in print on the website right now, My suggestion is to get it changed if your unhappy about it being repeated. Because most people are likely to believe Paintball.com over you and this is an ugly black eye for utah paintball regardless of the team who did it.

If someone didn't go to an event then where else would they get their information from? A article would be my best source of information other then asking a team. It is not derek's fault for believing an article. Maybe the writer didn't do a good enough job paying attention but you can't blame derek for reading an article and believing it.
Breakout is a great team, but I think that the actions of one kid can still ruin the reputation of a team for life. I still hold great respect for the team, they are great ballers, but that kid made a dumb move, however funny it is.

AS far as Breakout itself goes, i have great respect for the players. Great guys and great players.

Since they changed leadership, i have seen a vast improvement, in attitude and playing ability, as well as fair play on the field. They should be the ones screaming that their name is being tarnished.
