5-Man Skirmishes Tournament

Because we are now going to host the SPPL Qualifier, we had to make some changes to our tournament schedule for the Woodsball Skirmishes and the "Top Gun" tournament. The new dates are:

"Top Gun" Tournament, April 15th, 2006.

Skirmish Dates:
June 3rd
July 1st
September 30th

5-Man Skirmishes Tournament-NO DIVISIONS!! Instead of the 10 man format, we will be doing 5-man, but otherwise following the SPPL rules format!
Important! The SPPL will co-sponsor these 5-man skirmishes! We will now have 3 Skirmish tournaments and Velocity Paintball will still waive the winning teams Velocity fees into next years SPPL--which will be held at Velocity again..

The price per 5 man team per tournament will be $150.00

Tournament paint will be $52

Velocity is a reseller for Spec Ops, and players participating in the skirmishes will recieve discounts on Spec Ops clothing, gear, and markers.

Points during tournaments are cumulative. The 1st place team with the highest team point totals will win the Velocity sponsorship waiver plus other prizes.

For those who dont know yet, we will be holding an open practice for SPPL format on the 11th of March. It will be free entrance and free HP, but CO2 will be $3.00 per fill or $5.00 for the day. The paint will be FPO for the event. The paint will around $46-$48/ case for the practice. The paint will be shipped in fresh.

The Division 1 is clarified Derek, read again....(and that is full sponsorship) not a teaser!
The Division 2 prizes will be comparable in value to Division 1. Those prizes would "probably" be guns, paintball merchandise, embroidered team clothing, and local sponsor merchandise.

For instance.....your tournament -
Are you positively sure that you will be giving away Ion's at your series or is that a teaser?

We are based on the number of teams...Its clear and cut. If these amount of teams play then these amout of prizes are given away. Leaves nothing to question. Teams and players tend to get more excited and active when they know whats at stake.

And what Does full sponsorship into the sppl entail? Entry, Travel expenses or just the event its self? I don't See anything wrong with asking for some clarification.

Wasn't meant as a dig, was trying to raise interest. Thats all i was asking. No need to go on the defensive.

Sounds like a great series on a great field!!!
