Defeat is imminent in Iraq according to Democrats...

The head of the Democratic party, Howard Dean just said we can't win in Iraq and that we should leave immediately. John Kerry said we shouldn't be terrorizing Iraqi's by going into their homes at night to search for weapons and should leave now. Nancy Pelosi (Democratic minority leader in the House of Representatives) wants us to leave immediately too since we can't win. John Murtha (Democrat in the House of Representatives) says we won't win and we should pull out immediately. Notice a trend here.......

Thats because they are a bunch of hypocrits and are going back on their previous words. They don't want to put the time and effort into the good cause. They would rather let the terrorist cells grow and then after an attack, have to fix the problem then.

And God bless you sir, for serving our country.

I could go on for days with this, but do a Google search of what military members think of the situation. We are the ones with boots on ground and our lives are on the line. Most of us are highly educated and know when we're fed a line of Bull$*!^ by our elected leaders.

The short and resounding answer is YES, we are making a difference in that part of the world and we are not losing. Think of it this way, every person of the Islamic faith who has a beef with the U.S. is going to fight Americans in Iraq. They are coming to fight heavily armed Americans instead of unarmed civilians in America. Not only are we beating the terrorists, but Iraq is much better off. There are more hospitals, schools, libraries, power stations, and businesses than ever before.

AF Guy , how long where your tours? standard 90 day air force things? Any how I was there from 28 april 2003 to 28 april 2004 a total of 366 days god bless leap years. I was located on the B.I.A.P. or Baghdad international airport. I ran mission in and around Baghdad, and most of southern Iraq. From my personal stand point we are doing a good job over there and from the hundreds of Iraqies we talked with every day male and female they where glad to have us there and for the work we where doing to restore their goverment they are really good people and have years of terror brought on them they didn't ask for. I think we should stay there as long as it takes for peace and order to be restored and our political advisers should shut their freaking mouths. Most of them have never left the comforts of they tax pays paid limos or their privite ranches to know what soilders do in teh feild and what it takes to stay alive in a combat zone.

And to answer the question now YES i will have to go back over in 2007 for atleast one more year.
thanks

I'm not on the standard Air Force rotation of 90 days. My job is more of a ground combat communications role. My first tour was 7 months and my second was 6 months.
