Sept 24th event GJ

Well since no one has done a Thread on the tournament lets hear everyones thoughts on it. I thought the tourny was pretty neat I mean you gotta give Allen all the Credit for putting up with some teams and some people, I mean its a hard game and just cause you lose its not Allens fault i saw a lot of teams complainin. Just play the game and if you lose play harder or it just wasnt your day. Thanks Allen for all 4 Events and Dealing with Me and my guys.

Thanks Dex! 😁 A tournament of this size is not about one guy.

Cory does all the schedules and keeps the games running and provides his airball field.
Leila, my wife keeps all the registrations and money organized.
It also takes 100's of man hours to setup and tear down a field that big. In fact myself, my guys and Leon will be out there Mon, Tue, & Wed cleaning up. Team Covenant was awesome help in setting up & clean up of the field. Frantic, Judd and a couple JT Bruizers helped as well.

I also appreciate the Reff's who were willing to step up and help! Its hard work and you get abused all day long, frankly its not fun but with out good people willing try reffing, then events would not happen. Right or wrong they are willing to Ref so that everyone else can play.

My thanks to all the staff involved as well as the teams who helped put on this event and the entire series!

..

I know I have thanked Allen and Cory in a couple of other threads. I couldn't ahve been happier this last weekend. One we got to play in the pre rookie and to our shock we placed. Then to be asked to return and play in the rookie event because a team backed out and the other top three teams couldn't do it. We jumped on it and it was great. Sure I complained some but I now have a better understanding of what really happens on a field. I and the rest of my team left with no ill feelings. I am so looking forward to the 2006 season. THANK YOU ALLEN for taking the time to offer this to the paintballers of Utah.

huge thanks

first i would like to thank Allen and Cory for all their time that they put into the events this year. thanks to the reffs we are greatful for you time that you put in all the shots you took and the tough calls you made. I would also like to thank all the teams that showed up to play throughout the year. I had a great time playing all the teams. I hope we can continue to add more teams each year to increase the level of competion for all of us. I hope teams that had a hard time will stick together and practice this winter to improve and take their games to the next level. I hope that everyone can give allen a big thanks for all the hours he spends not only in the setup and organization of the events but also the hours he stresses about putting together a good event. I would also like to encourage everyone to thank the reffs as you see them around town.

Thanks Allen

Thanks Allen, we've rally enjoyed each tournament this season. The refs were great, the fields were great, the venue was excellent, and the competition was superb.

I'd also like to thank several other teams for the great time. Without great teams, the event would not have been as enjoyable. We always looked forward to our games with Frantic 1, Frantic 2, and especially Wraith. Great teams and great guys.

Thanks,
Rusty

Yes, Big thanks to Allen, Cory, Allen's wife and all the other staff running registration, thanks also to the Ref's out there giving their time, energy, and blood, so we can have a fair, fun, and safe event. Thank you to the teams we have had the opportunity and pleasure to play against. I have made a lot of friends through paintball, and the comroderie (sp?) of it all is the biggest part of why I enjoy it so much. Thanks again. See ya next year!

👍

GREAT SEASON! Im expecting an even better one next year. I played a uxpl event last year and i really was impressed with the improvement this year. great job to all the uxpl reffs and allen and his wife.

Next year i would like to have one local xball tourney to participate in. that would be fun.

and one thing i would love to participate in is a local 10 man tourney. ya ya sure 10 man is dead but, im a younger player than you older guys and ive never had a chance to play a true 10 man game. Ive seen the old videos and it looks awesome. I think if allen or someone could put on a small 1 time "layed back" even 10 man tourney that would be awesome. just a thought.

Again thanks to all the teams and the uxpl staff for an awesome season. hope to see you all next season.

Kudos to Allen, Corey and Staff, This was my first event and I enjoyed it all day. I must say I was impressed with most of the teams and players. There were a few fans and players whom I should have ejected. But 98% were top noch.
Real credit to the sport.
I did get more welts refereing than if I had played (lol).
Looking forward to pulling more of your arm bands next time. 😁
