That was our job... Too bad it took most of both days before both teams figured out that the best course of action was to run away when we entered the field....

As said by the great sage Pale Rider, "Don't poke the bear." Words to live by when dealing with the Alien characters.

Rich4man,

The marine general may of had a few sleepers, but at least they played. I had several groups leave saturday including ops gear. From what I say it was 1.5-2 to one in favor of the marines. We were stetched so thin that for the final minutes of the game I combined all my remaining forces which ended up being about 25-35 people. Just to help out, I got in the spec ops tank and decided to do what I could. Since I couldn't die unless the tank died, it was a good way for me to help my team. We finally got it after 2 trys and a few nasty welts (one of which still hasn't gone away yet)

I do have concede that we did not win, of course, there were other issues on Friday that also did not help us win. Overall, I want to thank those men and women who came out and gave me their all! We held our lines most of the time and took the beating in stride. I don't think I could have asked for more from those that stayed. It was very depressing and hard to get my guys to get up and go on saturday afternoon, but they did and we did ok.

Also, I would like to thank Allen and his crew for a great time and it was a lot of fun. Each year it has been getting better. I can't wait for Aliens 7!!!

Aliens only last 1 and a half days. Trash talkin it was gets me through the other 363 and a half. When you play for awhile, the trash talkin is almost as fun as the game itself.

(There are 3 types of paintballers, those who can count and those who can't 🙄 )

Joking aside, the mercs did a heck of a job. If the numbers where uneven, I didn't notice it on the field.

The aliens were stubborn. I wanted to get the tank and go on an alien expedition.

The staff did a great job too. I can only imagine what it takes to put something like this on, thanks. I'm looking forward to next year.

Also a big thanks to the generals. Like General Drasco said, "it was like herding cats".

Ok, enough with the mushy stuff, lets get back to trash talkin.

I think that is the point; in the movies and games(which this game is loosly baised) Aliens take out whole colonies of people without batting an eye, and take out elite battle hardened squads of Marines. That was the Idea Allen was going for when the special teams rules were created, so a small group of players can go out on the field and cause total mayham and confusion i.e. just like the movies

on the point of waiting all year for a game, attend the other Scenario games throught the year and help them grow.

Darrel is exactly right on. The concept was the Aliens where out there to create fear for the teams. Originally I outfitted the Aliens will full auto AT-85R's (TS-1's). At that time tippmann 98's were new and old spyders were common. The whole idea of a "Full Auto" gun was scarry!

The problem is that paintball has evolved since we started this scenario and now every player has thier own super fast "Mark-O-Matic" and think they should be invincable while behind the trigger and the result of placing such a "tough" force on the field created some frustration for players instead of fear. The whole value of the Aliens is debatable at this point, its one of the things we will evaluate closely in considering what type of scenarios make sense for the future.

Well put Allen.

And with that said I know Allen has posted here many times for players who played in Aliens VI to post their opinions so that Allen and the crew can help improve future scenario games.

Guys I don't know how many people have put forth the effort of giving Allen the feedback he has asked us for, but let's give it to him. He can't improve it if we don't give it to him and what a better place then in the comfort of our home and from the computer where you can explain it the way you would like.

Give it to him at:
