To Rick and Craig Guys, it's obvious that you frequent these forums because you react to the different things said here by players within the community. I ask this. Why not sign up for an account?
You guys are just as welcome here as any other player in the Great State of Utah. You contribute to game play and have good opinions on things I'm sure. Granted, all of your opinions may not be agreed with and you can't expect that all of the time, I know I don't. If something on this site is wrong or if I say something people don't agree with, I expect to be called on it. Being able to install vBulletin shouldn't give me any more paintball knowledge than I have earned by playing the game. I guess I don't understand what the point is behind reading threads as a guest or signing up under different usernames and pretending it's not you. (I can track IP's too). We won't ban you, and you won't be censored. The only posts that will get modded here will be obvious Trolling. We didn't want people to spam you, but you've read that, and we're sorry that it happened, it only takes away from the community enviroment we're trying to create. It's a big internet and a big state, there's room for two Utah paintball sites and it shouldn't have to get ugly. So sign up, we'd like to hear what you have to say. The invitation is extended, your move.

If you are reading IP’s, it is probably mine. I am assuming I am welcomed as well! Obviously, players took advantage of the fact that Craig, Rick and most all the moderators were at the Denver NPPL. What a more perfect opportunity for them to exploit the site and make personal attacks. I was basically the only one with internet access, so I have been viewing 801 A LOT since this past weekend.
Frankly, I am not that impressed with the 801’s ongoing negative spirit although it has been informative of the schemes and plots against Utah Paintball. You are so quick to bash and point the finger that Utah Paintball banned you. When the fact is you all banned yourselves (with the exception of Allen whose IP was blocked due to other abusers). You all knew the rules and you chose to not to follow which resulted in consequences. So stop all the bashing, YOU made your choice. It sounds like you are happy at 801 so leave it at that. The old cliché goes, “misery loves company.” Negativity only drags everyone down no matter how fulfilling or rewarding you think it may be to your site. The one thing I am most concerned about on your site is the leadership. I am assuming a lot of your viewers are young teenage boys and it seems to me you feed their hatred and negativity. I hope I do not embarrass Tubyboy, but this is just one classic example: Neil suggests Tubyboy does not spam but then adds, “I won't even pretend that I'm in a position to tell you what to do.” Or you tell him, “It would be funny, but…” Is it so funny now, would it be funny if it happened to 801? So, with that little ounce of encouragement, Tubyboy now advances on with PM ing. Once Allen reads the post that Tubyboy is Pming, Allen then sends him a quote on fighting for a noble cause and poor Tubyboy does not know if what he did is right or wrong. Luckily, he was unsure of the interpretation or who knows what would have happened next. It is not until later that Allen puts his foot down and says “no more.” As an FYI, the Utah PB is investigating a more serious crime other that the ploys from 801 users. We will prosecute if we can. My suggestion is get over it, worry about your own site and TALK PAINTBALL, build up the sport that you love and want to promote. Good or bad publicity is still publicity. It is up to you regarding the direction of your site. There have been some posts that encourage my message but then others can’t leave the pin pricking, false accusations (some of you should consider working for the National Enquirer, you have some very creative ideas) and name calling alone. This will be my last and final visit and post on 801. It seems I can rest assured that there will not be any more foul play from 801 users and the admins are back on track. Therefore, please do not reply to me personally as I will no longer be returning. I have other priorities I need to focus on and this email alone has taken up much of my time. Good luck to you all. Neil, please delete all my log information from 801 Thanks, Heidi

No, it isn't yours. They know what I'm talking about. Quote:
Schemes and Plots? Wow, you really are one of them huh? As far as negativity towards UTPB is concerned, well, you have to expect a little of that when people are afraid to speak because they'll get banned or end up getting banned for saying something a moderator or administrator doesn't agree with. It's hard not to be negative when you're banned for no reason. Let's take me for example. I went out to the Fairmont UXPL event and took about two hundred pictures. I got home and uploaded them into gallery on this website and that was that. I was on the UTPB Forums and someone asked if anyone had any pictures from the event. I posted a link to that specific gallery, not to the main page, to that one gallery. A few minutes later that thread was deleted and my account was locked out. I was banned. Banned for posting a link to pictures of a UXPL event in the UXPL forum on UTPB. Yeah, I really deserved that. Shortly after this someone asked where the link to the pictures had gone and someone posted the link again. Thread deleted, poster banned. Yup, they deserved that, those damn UXPL pics in the UXPL forum just won't stand. Well, then some UTPB posters got annoyed and tried to post the link again, only something was different, a large chunk of the link came out looking like this ************. That's right, 801paintball was now a swear word on UTPB. Mmmmmm, Censorship. I contacted Craig Munsee, who was the Admin on at the time and was the one that removed my thread and banned me, and asked what the deal was. He said that UTPB would not allow links to competing sites. Competing for what? His response was that UTPB had advertising packages being released in the coming weeks and that I was not a sponsor or affiliate and therefore had no right to advertise on their forums. This is why you could never find UXPL event dates on UTPB, they were not a $ponsor of UTPB. So did I do anything wrong in order to get banned? I don't think so, and I think a lot of players will agree with me. Well, I did do one thing wrong, I thought the paintball community was about fun and information, not about money. Silly me. Quote:
I'm Neil, that was Nate. What you fail to realize is that he tells them not to do it and that it would only make us look bad or hinder the ability of others that do enjoy the UTPB forums. He just doesn't pretend to be their Daddy and have to watch what they say and do. We're not babysitters, we're paintballers, we're also players that believe in the rights of individuals and their ability to make their own decisions, right or wrong. Quote:
Well good for you. We have an investigation going on too. Isn't this fun? Talk paintball? We have Team Forums, Reviews, sections for all kinds of play, game announcements, and general BSing. We're talking paintball all the time. If you look around, these areas are well used, and will continue to be so. Quote:
Thanks, but you know, it's not really up to me. It's up to the players in Utah. I don't care what it takes, if they want it, we'll do our damndest to make it happen, because these are our friends. While we may have never met most of them, I've never walked onto a field full of strangers where I wasn't welcomed. That's the direction this site is going to go in. We're going to foster that spirit, that it isn't about one or two players and what they want, but what the team wants. Quote:
It's too bad that this is your last post. You're going to miss out on what will no doubt turn into an amazing site for Utah players. And while you say that you won't be returning, I have no doubt in my mind you won't be able to resist what people have said in response to your post. So welcome back, that didn't take long now did it? Quote:
I won't be deleting any logs. I like mine intact. Thanks for stopping by 801paintball, you're welcome back anytime.

I'm not sure who Heidi is but I do know that I never posted any negative info on the Utah PB site. I did post some info about a local deal that got deleted and I replied with a post on how I was just trying to help the local Ballers but that it was also their site and they had the right to run it the way they wanted.
I still cant get to the Utahpb site so I'm guessing I was banned for some reason. The only thing I can think of is that they saw me as a member here(same user name). /shrug __________________
