I haven't been able to come down to the field on fridays. Couldn't the field be used that day for the Open division? That was you could possibly get the novice and rookie teams down to watch and possobly help out with anything that needs to be done. Just a thought.

If we keep a one day event then going to a third field is likely.

The problems with a 3rd field are manpower related more than eqipment related. Field 3 will take more setup time & manpower which is a problem now.

Finding a Quality 3rd Ref crew is a big concern, quality Refs crews have been hard to come by, there is no 1-800-dial-a-ref. We have had difficulty retaining the 2 ref crews we are using now.

Yea Travis we are looking at the possibilities of Friday nights but that means time off work and we would need to have field fully set up on Thursday, which means starting setup on Wednesday. But its a possibility.

As i recall fields are supposed to be up and ready for teams to practice on on Thursday as stated in the 2005 season booklet.

Exactly and its been a real problem for us with wind, weather and Venue problems. Instead of 1 day it has taken 2 days of set up most of the time.
