Big game-small scenario july 4th at velocity

VELOCITY PAINTBALL PRESENTS

JULY 4th 8:30 AM--7:00 PM

I just wanted to give the 801paintball members a heads up on our upcoming event. Price will be $10 for entrance and $5 for an all day air card. Paint will be $45 a case for field paint, and $55 a case for gold paint. We will have a raffle for prizes, food will be available to purchase, and we will be using the whole 40 acres of field for play.

We are also giving free entrance to one child 13 years of age and younger with a paying adult!! AND there will be a $5 discount (per person) to groups of five or more!!!

The 4th might be a bad idea, a lot of people, including my self have trips planned or cookouts.

I think the 2nd would be better. Still in conjuction with a weekend. But not on the 4th when people would be out and about.

Plus whats a Weedend? 😁

We were thinking we would have the same problem on saturday, but hopefully there will still be a bunch that will want to come play paintball on the holiday.

what fields are going to be used

It all depends on how good of a showing we get. If there are a lot of people then we will be using all of the fields (the town, riverside-with the sniper tower, the jungle, the willows, and the island)

If there is a smaller group of people we will likely use riverside, jungle, and the town.

I should also mention that our roads have dried out enough, so the mosquito abatement team has been out spraying the mosquitos, and the weeds at urban town have been mowed down. So the conditions for the event should be great!

Ok boys and girls, who in the world thinks that just because its the 4th of July weekend, that everyone will be camping or what have you, last 4th of July paintball get togther I was in, was the best turn out ever, tons of players are around to play, so lets get it on, lets do it for all the military people out their who have given their lives for us.

We realize that some people might not be able to come, but we will be doing some new stuff on saturday as well. Saturday will be the grand opening of our new field "Riverside" Its been long in the waiting, and many of us have been excited about this new field being up and playable. So we have some special games planned for that field on saturday that should be a lot of fun.

UPDATE!!

During the scenario on July 4th, we will be taking a mid-day break for lunch. A hot dog , drink and chips will be available for $2.00.

On Saturday the 2nd, during a lunch break to let everyone rest and regroup, those interested in ordering pizza to be delivered will need to let the office staff know when you check in. With everyone pitching in, the cost should be low....drinks (gatorade and cold water) and candy bars are available at the field every Saturday now..$1.00 for gatorade, $.75 or bottled water and $.50 for a candy bar...
