Playing the fields...

I had an opportunity to participate in "proof of concept" games this afternoon on The Jungle and Urban Combat Town to make sure that all of the fields will play well when Velocity opens up. The play was great! It exceeded my expectations. Players everywhere will really like playing there. The terrain and buildings are challenging to play and will make for some good games.

See you on the 30th for the grand opening!

Yes, even I was well surprised at how well the fields played. They were fun, quick, and exciting to play. (a lot of back doors and sneaky ways to get around the village). April 30th opening is going to be a blast!!

the fields were amazing the urban town is intense and the jungle could be replayed for hours without ever getting old. There are a couple things I could see change in on the Jungle but urban town was perfect. more than I expected by far. The field was fun to play, the weather was perfect, there were no misquitos the entire time I was there. I am anxious to see how the jungle field will look when more plants begin to grow later this spring.

Hum, Splat

Heard last year was the last year for splat.

I question why they didn't groom the rec field, after all it was almost overgrown and had buildings falling. Was told it was the last year the owner was going to operate. 😲
