Velocity Volunteers Please read..

If it Rains Friday or Saturday the road will be CLOSED.

The Road into Velocity has been graded it cannot have any ruts in it so we can gravel the road next week.

As a result if it rains we cannot go into the field to work.

The Weather prediction is for Rain on Friday and Snow on Saturday.

Ovbiously this will push the Opening weekend Date back.
Due to the UXPL on April 23rd, the new Velocity Opening will be on April 30th.

The positive note is that we expect to have 2 additional Rec Fields opened by April 30th.

If the weather holds with NO Rain please call the Velocity Phone # on Friday Night or Saturday to see if we are going to the field. 529-0276

Thanks for the initial post on the cancellation date Allen...

It took a lot of consideration by many individuals to change the opening date of the Velocity Paintball Field....an opening which will eventually happen! We can't change the weather, and it has slowed us down on construction. The gravel trucks were ready to roll this Friday, but now we will have to wait until the road dries again.

Please, as Allen as asked, do not attempt to go to the Velocity Field until the roads are dry. Mike has graded the roads, and there are some construction items exposed and we don't want them disturbed...Thanks!

We are going to need a lot of final volunteer work before the opening on the 30th of April. Much of this work can take place during the school spring breaks coming up. Keep in touch with this forum, Allen, or call Velocity 1 @ 529-0276 if you have a question.
