I have gotten a lot of questions from players with little or no understanding of tournament paintball, please do not flame people who ask these questions.

Q. Where is the event being held.

A. The Utah Summer Games are held in Cedar City every year. As Far as a venue specifically we are down to three possible locations all in the Cedar City area.

Q. What type of paint will be used in the summer games?

A. We will be using X-ball paint. Most likely it will be silver grade.

Q. Where will the Paintball event be held?

A. As of today (3/22) we have narrowed the location down to three locations, once we get approval we will post the offical location. We can all but guarantee at this point hat the games will be played on grass.

Q. How much paint will my team need for the summer games?

A. There is no definate number on how much paint your team will need. It will depend on how much you shoot and how far you advance in the tournament. A good way to guage this is to practice and see how much you shoot in a game.

Q. Will players be required to wear Utah Summer Games Shirts?

A. No players can wear up to two layers, the outer layer must have long sleeves. No chest protectors or thick padding is allowed.

Q. Can players wear knee and elbow protection?

A. Yes, most definatly.

Q. Will players be allowed to wear cleats?

A. Metal Cleats will not be allowed, even ground down metal cleats.

Q. Are you netting the fields for spectators ?

A. Yes the fields will be netted and there will be spectator areas.

I went over the specs and reviewed the intricasies with great intent twoards solidifying my teams resolve to participate in such a tournament that is the Utah Summer Games! 😕 🙂

Result and Conclusion of my Analysis:
-the turnout should be sick!
-this event is gonna be sweet!
-My pockets won't be drained!
-and on top of it all, it's the utah summer games -nice!

but seriously
what ive seen so far makes me certain that this will be the most anticipated tourney of years to come, I can't wait!

Thanks for the great words. There has been a lot of non-payed effort put into this event to keep the cost @ a min. for all teams.

Gold for 63 is really not that good of a deal imo
