Having never owned either gun i can't say i know a lot about them. However i have worked on both and shot both. If you want my opinoin i say you can't go wrond either way. Impulse are nice guns and are pretty easy to walk. BKO are also great guns and are just as easy to walk and they don't cost as much as either. If you are looking to save money then go with the BKO. if money isn't much of an object then go with the impulse. Happy shopping hope i could give you some insite as to what you want or should get. But you can't go wrong either way.

Just a question for all you impulse owners is it a pain to have to hold up that heavy gun as you try to rail down a bunker? I held one and man alive it was like I was holding a train track with a trigger on it! Maybe it is just me but the impulse seems very bulky and heavy. Here is the question is the weight worth it? Will I regret getting one when I hold it up? Let me know what you guys think 🙂

Ive heard good things about both, but all I can say is if you are looking a at getting a BKO, I'd step up and get a B2K4 with PDS. An Impy is way better than a BKO but a B2K with the Paint Detection System will give it a run for its money,,,they are super fast. The B2K's have been known to have a some problems with using a lot of air, but other than that are very good. Also, the B2K has many options as far as board upgrades that make them even faster. (not that you need it).
😕

At that price the BKO may not be a bad way to go. With the eyes it will make the gun more practical because they are so fast that you would have problems breaking without them (because even halo's aren't perfect). That is a good option. I don't know much about efficiency on the BKO but it cant be worse than the B2K.

But........Now that Allen mentioned the Freestyle........

This is the gun I will forever covet. This gun is super fast and super small. And with the lowered price, new bolt, and new programing ( that will soon be upgraded into the Freestyle MIllennium has ) the gun will be even faster and more air efficient. These things rip. I only had the oprotunity to shoot a couple balls through it but...I likey.

That is all for now.

If you are on a budget, definitely check out a BKO, especially a used one. They can be had for cheap off the net. I just picked up 2 @ $120 a piece! Woot! That leaves a lot of room for upgrades. Bushmasters and BKO's are great markers. I've owned a BKO (sold), a Sonic Bushmaster(sold), a 8th gen B2K, and now, 2 more BKO's. They've never let me down. My upped B2K is fast enough to outrun a Halo B. Also, tons of upgrades for ICD markers can be found at:
