What Do You Want In A Field

I am new to this site but i would like some feedback on starting a new field. What should it have? What sould hours be... You know that sort of stuff. If it happens it will be outdoor but thats ok? right? 😕

an outdoor feild would be sweet! What i would want in a feild is AIRBALL, and big enough for 5-7man tournys.

It would be nice to have an indoor and an outdoor field. There are very few fields where you can practice on grass, so that would be a plus.

For real though I want airball good proshop 5000 psi fills and good location. where is it exactly. I don't know what kind of hours. What will the prices be like. Anyone else have ideas. Also this is off-topic but does brett from breakout come on these forums.

(2) 180'X80' out door fields on grass or pea gravel. Both SupAir. No pro shop, maybe just minor repair shop for rental guns, fill station that fills to at least 3000psi, and restrooms. Most tourney's don't even fill to 5000 psi. No food, no TV, no Video games, just Paintball. Keep it to the bare essentials to keep prices low. Then maybe add and incorporate what you can to earn more proffits later on down the road. Maybe make it a dual sport location, skate park/half pipe, that way you could attract more customers to view what paintball is all about. Then if you have a need or desire to add a proshop it could be skate and paintball products. 2 fields would enable you to cater to tourney players and the rec ball noobies at the same time. Maybe do it like the out of state fields do it. $15-$25 entry & that covers air and field access, but you bring your own paint. That would mean that the One case wonders could play for about $60.00, or a few cases you could play for about $90.00 without the overhead. Hours would depend on how committed you were, I would stay open 11am-dark everyday for a few months to determine what optimal hours of opperation would be. You could have a nice set up for under $20,000.00 + Property costs. Location would also be a factor for the newbies, but most tourney players would drive 30-45 min. for a good location.

Truth is, its paintball. Therefore there really isn't a lot of money in the business. If this would be your second job and you are fine finacially and such, then just make paint like 5.00-10.00 more than your cost. Just try to be anti-nazi as you can and people will respect and support you. [/end rant]

What about a $10 entry and multiple grade paint? Like have crap paint for 45 Have medium for 50 and have torney for around 60? That is how it is in vagas. And also we are thinking 2 fields 1 airball 1 recball. the location not totally set is by orem right off the freeway. you can see it from the freeway so you could put a big sign and it would be like a billaboard. there will be food. and yes we have 5000 psi tanks set up so you dont have to fill as much for all you out there with 4500. would that be allright? all sugestions welcome!!!
