Rookie to Pro Ok can somebody help me understand how this works. I never played a tourney before and the classification seems a little confusing.

In a general sense, the ranking goes like so:
Rookie D3 (This is Rookie-Intermediate XPSL, D3 Xball, or D3 NPPL) Novice D2 Amatuer D1 Semi Pro Pro. It happens by eating lots of spinach and having regular bowel movements. The classifications are on different systems, for example. You may be a Pro in the NPPL but at the same time you may unranked in the psp. However, if you are PRO NXL xball player, you are automatically ranked Semi Pro in the NPPL. Slowly they are trying to integrate a universal ruling for higher division players Last edited by happy sumo : 06-24-2008 at 10:36 AM.

It starts even lower than that...
Local D5 Local D4 (Young gunz is just age) Rookie (XPSL) / 5 Man Xball Roughly the same I think, Correct me if I'm wrong Intermediate (XPSL) Novice (XPSL), D3 (NPPL) (PSP) D2 (NPPL) (PSP) D1 (NPPL) (PSP) Semi Pro Pro God!!! JK In my opinion thats how the ranks go but there are some diff opinions between PSP and NPPL formats

In theory whats the quickest you can go pro? And do you have to actually have wins to move up in divisions? Or is it just the amount of events you play?

Team wise or individual wise?
I guess you could get picked up by a pro team anytime... if your really that goood.. Team wise you have to meet a certain quota to move up from semi pro to pro. Likewise, if your pro and don't meet that quota, you can be bumped down to semi pro.

Ok got another question guys. Now lets say I play in the UXPL and move up into D4 or D3. Does that carry over my classification to other leagues or is it just for that league? And how about the higher tournaments like NPPL, and PSP?
