Miller motor sports park Paintball field Tooele game!!! June 28-29, 2008

Miller Motor sports park is looking at opening a paintball o a permanat basis.

To that end this weekend i was asked to host the field as a test.

This weekend is a two day racing event with all sorts of events going on. There is a lot going on so come play paintball, watch some races, listen to the battle of the bands, and come have fun Should be a lot of fun. To learn more go to...

http://www.millermotorsportspark.com/

Since it is 25.00 to get into the park i will not be charging 801 paintball players to play. Feel free to bring your own paint and markers and come give it a try. Their will be no charge to enter the park on Non event days.

If it is a big enough success we will be able to keep the field open for other weekends. Here is your chance Tooele to get a close legal field come support it.

If you have any questions please give me a call at 801 759 4064

Derek

I was planning on being there for GT LIVE anyway on Saturday so I'll be sure to stop by. I don't own a gun right now so not sure if I'll play or not, but I will at least stop by and say hi.

You can get $20 discount tickets this way:
Quote:
GT LIVE West
June 28-29, 2008
$20 Saturday General Admission – (reg. $25)
$20 Sunday General Admission – (reg. $25)
Grandstand seating is open to all ticketed guests. All guests will have Paddock Access, plus access to most trackside locations.
www.gtlivetour.com/
To redeem your discount call Ed Webler 435-277-8617 (No service fee!!)

Or online at
http://www.ticketmaster.com/promo/35e6iz
Special Offer Code
EW8617
Use this password in the box on the PROMOTIONS AND SPECIAL OFFERS line to receive your discount: (Service fees apply)

It is better just to call the guy because the online way charges a service fee. $20 is worth it because it includes rides in race cars around the track and you get to drive a go-kart on the kart track, plus now there's paintball and other stuff going on.

Hmmm

IM not sure thats true...tournament players while fanatical and contribute to more these forums i would dare say they are a small minority when compared to recball players.

Most of the people that will be here this weekend and play have never played paintball at all.

Recball is what this field is designed for, and remeber i have had less than 3 hours to work on this field. It isn't much but we have just got started

We were able to work on the field for a couple of hours last night...keep in mind that i only found out about this sunday and we have had to make do with what we had on hand. So we just grabbed what Jon and i could move by hand.

We are going to add an additional 20 to 30 bunkers and expand on both sides of the mound, We just have to wait for the trailers to bring the large tire bunkers we couldn't lift our selfs. I would guess we are about 1/2 the size the field will be when we finish.

If this goes well i discussed permant telephone poles, and grass airball fields and they were very positive towards it.

People need to do all they can to support this. This is an awesome opportunity to strengthen UT paintball

PS
just 2 of the UT Recball teams make up as many as 12 speedball teams and I would guess that 80% of local recballers are not on a team.
