I use a Nikon D80. The camera didn't get hit in the lens. I was hit from behind and it will no longer accept a memory card. I sent in to Nikon for service and should get it back in about a month.

I had to move to a faster lens for indoor but it was an older manual lens. In order to focus better I lifted up the plastic cover so I didn't have to look thru it and could see directly thru the viewfinder. Just as I did I got hit from behind and it filled the back of my camera with paint.

I appreciate all those that have offered help. I didn't anticipate the response i got. I wasn't trying to solicit money, but I appreciate all those that offered. With all the comments and support I have received both online and in person. I guess I can't quit now. So I guess you will see me at the next event.

To make it easier to find the pictures I have registered a domain to point to my photobucket account. It is free as long as I get 25 unique hits every 90 days.

Well, I got my camera back from Nikon today. The repair bill was a grand total of Nothing!!! They covered it under warranty. Thanks for all your support.
