the event in the park was nice. Nicely set up fields. the format was kinda wierd. the flags and starting But it was a good change in tournaments.
Allen can we look forward to a uxpl in fairmont park again next season?

Thanks Z,

As I have said publicly I was not satisfied with several things at the Fairmont 2004 event. Good event but it needed some improvements.

We ran our second event on July 3rd we corrected the problems and had a smooth event. I also hope to have a final event at PB-Addicts in November.

I dont know if Fairmont Park will be usable in 2005 or not. SLC county is still debating the assertion that paintball guns are firearms.


The UXPL 2005 season looks awesome I already have 4 events lined up and a great new venue contracted!

There will be four, 5 man events events for sure and we are looking at an additional two 7-man events including an NPPL feeder event with another established league. Due to player requests we will add 3-man X-ball on Friday nights as well as our Thursday Open practices.

More details will be available when things are solidifed but suffice it to say the UXPL staff has been very busy the last few months making the necessary corrections and planning for an excellent 2005 season.

as for the firearm deal. PAINTBALL GUNS ARE NOT FIRE ARMS! where is there "Fire" in a paintball MARKER. Serriously it is a controled event with safety first.

UXPL in 2005 is going to be awesome. We hit one event in 2004 and loved it! Were planning on attending every event from now on. Keep up the good work.

You will be seeing some of the same faces but with improved skills. We are working on increasing the abilities and experience of the refs for next year.
