2008 season dates released...

Xtreme Paintball Series has now released the dates for 2008 season. Dates have been released on the XPS website. XPSutah.com

Some dates still yet to be confirmed, Also one more additional event might be added in the month of September.

Season ending prizes for both divisions.

Best event prizes around.

Woot woot!

What is the usual turnout at these events? How many teams?

I'm thinking that the april 12 turnout is going to be fairly low, seeing as how most of the northern part of the state is covered with two feet of snow. Where will the all the kiddies get to practice?

we still have febuary and march to have the snow melt and their is a couple indoor places.

By April the snow up there is always gone... It is only Jan. so get your practice in at one of the indoor centers.

What indoor field would you guys recommend? Our team is in Ogden, and we don't mind a drive. But I do have one concern. If we go to an indoor field, are we going to be able to do drills, practice, interupt play for coaching etc., or is it pretty much go down there and play against others? Or even worse, is it mostly pick-up games where people expect us to split our team up and play on opposing sides.

If you wanna play as a team the best night to go to addicts would be thursday nights.

Tuesday nights if you go play at the procenter.
Drills can be done mostly any night. I think the procenter does drills earlier on saturday but I am not positive on this.

As far as interupt play i would think that would be up to who you are playing with.

If you want to set up a private practice for your team at Addicts, pm me and we can work something out.

Thursday nights are a great night to bring your whole team in and play against other teams. Most teams are 5 to 7 man.

That would be sweet. Hopefully we can make it down there soon. Nights are rough because two of us work swing shift. The last two seasons we have practiced every Saturday morning for about two hours and then play whoever shows up. We are trying to take it up a notch though so maybe we'll have to make some changes to be able to get down there on Thurs.
