new to the area..

hey guys, just transferred up here from tyndall AFB in florida in july, hadnt found much on the local paintball scene untill someone mentioned Hill AFB had a field to me earlier today..

i'm 18, played 2 years of tournament stuff down in the FL panhandle for team's Crypt Orchid and Suicide Guys. play front/mid. mostly 3 man tourney experience, a little 5 man, mostly on an intermediate level, 2 tournaments advanced(d2 and under players)

trying to find out whats around, i live in draper. havent been able to play in about 6 months because of the move out here and recovering from a back injury.

freshman at the U, lifeguard/LG instructor & swim instructor for Salt lake county, and ski instructor for alta..) but things are slowing down a bit for the moment and i'd like to get back into 'ballin.

please hit me up with any information, any teams looking for a member, local fields, when/how often there are open practices/tryouts, and if there's a down season so to speak.. florida was kinda endless summer so we played year round, i have no clue what winters are like here except up in the mountains.

annd also where do you guys get tanks hydro'd here?

thanks all!

Hill AFB has a tourney team...you could look into that.

Our team is having an open tryout on November 10th..(Saturday).

The best local fields around SL are Addicts and Pegleg ProCenter.

hydro

You can get hydro testing in Salt Lake at Neptune Divers....their contact info can be found at http://www.neptunedivers.net/ . Thursday nights at paintball addicts tends to have a consistent group of guys who play. Welcome to Utah!🙂

the two best fields are the pegleg field in kearns and addicts in salt lake. there is also a pickup field in provo where a lot of teams practice but since winter is coming in a couple weeks that wont be an option til probably march or so. there are a couple tournament leagues, there is the XPS and the UXPL. xpsutah.com and uxpl.com will give you all the info. as for teams, right now will be the best time to get on one since all the local events are over and they dont start again til spring
