What are we accomplishing???

As of late I have been doing a lot of thinking. With so few well astablished local paintball teams what are we accomplishing by bitching and fighting non stop back and forth at each other? How will we ever make Utah a valid threat when we are always attacking each other?

Instead why not put aside what so called differences people have with each other (and yes I know this may be hard) and in essence bury the hatchet. Now by no means am I saying that you need to become close friends with everybody in the painball community because hell I know that wont happen. What I am saying is that we work together and help to make the teams that want to succeed make it to the next level, and show the world that Utah can and will take out the top paintball teams.

This is just just my food for thought... Think about it.

No matter what, in everything anyone does in life, there will be conflicts and disagreements. Theres no way to get around it.

You know you are right there will always be disagreements thats just the way of human nature. Its always a he said she said drama. Which I have to admit is pretty amusing for the most part and I wouldnt say do away with that. What I am saying is why not work together in building teams better. We dont have to like each other, but why not help each other for the better good of paintball and when it comes to tourneys then you can go back to trying to smash and destoy each other. I am in a rare place where I am pretty nuttual and get along with most players and teams but when I am on the field I dont have a problem giving it my all out and putting frienships aside till after the match.

It's not like any teams from Utah haven't done this before. Some of us have been doing it for years.. 🙂

Also, now you know why we usually prefer to stay out of all the local drama and politics.

Im going to chime in here because I agree with Nich.
There has always been drama, yes, there will always be drama. However maybe thats everyones problem.

When I was playing, out of the tournaments I have been too, I always looked forward to local events more then the out of state ones. Specifically because you know most everyone there. I loved playing against and with friends. Those are my most fond memories are all of the local events that I had the honor of playing in.

Why does everyone have to hate on everyone else. Why does there have to be such animosity towards other teams, other players and or other leagues.

To satisfy your ego? to make yourself feel bigger then others? why?!?!?

Granted I am not a saint in this matter. I have said things over the years and done things like this over the years of playing myself.
However once you take a step back and look around do you only start to see all of this.

I really hope that people can actually start to respect other people for their strengths and not show hate for their weaknesses. People are quick to forget their roots, where they came from and how they got to where they are. Ive seen it time and time again. And it saddens me.

I mean from a stand point if some of the teams put a side there diffrences we would have some killer teams. Teams would no longer need to practice there teams against each other or hope that random people show up to play. Teams would be able to practice against other teams with there whole squad...
