Dissatisfaction with Halo 3

Am I the only one here, or have I just been turned off of Halo from all of the publicity and having been use to the gamestyle of Gears of War and looking forward to the next 2 installments of GOW?

I thought, similiar to Halo 2, it was really short. However, I am a fan of the 4 player co-op missions, haven't yet had a chance to do so.

halo isnt really famous for its campaign game play, dont get me wrong its fun for sure...but its deff a player vs player kind of game, online play is the shit

online game play is okay. I loved halo 2 but GofW is so much better!

Halo 3 sucks, in general the graphics are good but other than the game is disapointing.

Lots of hype. I was hoping for more than 8 or 9 levels. Cut all the movie scenes and put more into the game itself. I couldn't believe i was on the last level when I was on the last level, i thought for sure there had to be more, it seemed to be an abrupt ending.

I was dissappointed by the campaign but, as has been said, that's not what Halo is known for. The multiplayer experience will have people playing this game for years.

the more I play multiplayer the better I like it. Maps still suck though
