Force Feed Hoppers?

So yeah, I need to get some sort of Force Fed Hopper for my Spyder Imagine with the Electronic Auto. I have a short adjustable feed tube so I can fit pretty much any hopper. The gun is rated at 13 balls a sec. I know thats not fast, but I dont care to shoot much faster right now till I get a better gun with a todder trigger. Not sure how you actually call the trigger, but one that teeter totters on a focal point in the middle. Then I just have to train my fingers to move instead of holding the trigger, lol.

So all in all, Im thinkin a hopper that can do about 20-25 balls a sec. That will give me some room to grow with it since Im spending some money in it, I want it to last a while.

Someone was telling me the original Halo is a good hopper. I know there is a difference between sound activated and eye activated, Im just curious if someone can take alittle more time to explain each to me, and then give me some options of both. Right now I'm leaning to eye activated.

Any Advice?

In my experience, eye activated seems to work better becasue there are alot of sounds on the field that can set off your hopper. If your shooting a dark shelled paint then sound activated is better. It is really just personal prefference, both are fast and reliable. Oh and don't even bother with the rocking trigger. That thing is more of a gimmick than anything.

If you already have a Halo then there really is no need to upgrade to a new hopper. the only time you will really need those kinds of speeds to come out of your hopper is if you are playing in PSP mode or ramping. most fields only allow up to 15 balls a second for safety reasons. instead spend some cash and upgrade the internals of you hopper. get a new board and rip drive, (if you don't have one).

as far as the rocking trigger goes, i had one. in fact i still have the gun but never use it anymore. it works great for what it is. but spyders use a blow back valve system so don't expect any kind of consitancy out of it. you'll want to upgrade the reg, get an ACS bolt and use air and not co2. but at that point you might as well drop and extra $50 and pick up an Ion.

The spyder is simply getting me by. I like the gun, its a ton of fun. But if I do anything major in component upgrade to the gun, I'd buy a new one anyway and let someone else have my Imagine

Don't bother with an imagine. Get an ion. A lot more upgradeable, and a much better gun all around. And most hopper can't do 20-25 stock. Most can hold 18 solid, but over that its not really consistant.
