$1000 Dollar Guns......

What do you recommend? I am just gettin back into the sport after a year or so break and amazed at all the guns that are out now. Is it worthwhile to spend 1000+ on a gun or go for the proto rail, the sp epiphany, the invert mini, upgraded ion, etc etc?

I kinda want to get a backup gun, although I'm not sure its needed, because my 05 speed has never let me down since day one. More just cus I'm in the buying mood in roughly a month when I finally have some cash coming my way again.

So post up, post more than its an awesome gun, say why its amazing and the pros and or cons about the gun.

in my opinion, an ego is the best gun available right now. other great choices would be a dm6/7, or a shocker. it's all preferance but so far my best experience has been my new 07 ego. Spoon is selling a really nice Sl66 for a great price, you should check that out.

👍

Well which type of guns are you more comfortable with? (Spool Valve, Open Bolt Blowblack, etc...)

Right now I would say if your budget is around a grand, get an 07 ego. Hands down one of the most impressive markers yet. I hated egos until I shot one of these. If your not a fan of a lobbing shot, try picking up a used PM6 with Ultralight frame for around 500.

Its really all personal prefrence these days. Egos are by far at the top of the list. Super dependable guns. the 07s are just amazing. If your coming from an 05 speed, you might want to look into A1s. Looks like you like your angel, and the A1s are really good. Shoot well, they are light, and they are quick. They can also shoot almost any paint. They love brittle paint. If you are coming from an angel, you will know whats up with A1s. not many changes, but there are changes. You can pick them up for around 800-900 if they arent PL. Look at fezs A1...

07 egos FTW! if you shot a pre 07 ego and didnt like it i reccomend picking up an 07. 100% better. Lightest gun out and amazingly low maitenece. They are ready to rock out of the box. egos are the future of paintball.

Yeah the past Two guns I have had were Extremely Impressive. Angel One's are sooo tiny, and can shoot the most brittle of paint. @ XPSL Jean Me and oberg were some of the only ones on our team that were able to shoot the hellfire/inferno successfully with hardly any breaks.

PM's are a great alternative if you dont have as much cash.

WDP's customer service is amazing, which really helps out with any tune ups or upgrades.

Thanks josh, enjoy the PM. Thanks goldberg!

I still say the 04 CUSTOM milled viking is that best gun ever made. Still there is nonthing that has topped it!!
Just my 2 cents
Plus if people dont know what it is then you know they are a product of advertisement not of the sport!!
Newest is not allways the best.

If you can spend the money get a 07 ego.

For a back-up try a mini. They are pretty slick and inexpensive.
