Ion Rate of fire setting

OK so i am pretty sure how to change the rate of fire setting so it will cap at a lower RoF, but I'm just wondering how i know what its at? like does it come out of the box at 17, so if i press the button twice to make it go down will that cap it at 15? thx

Take it all the way down and then count up...

They come out of the box at different settings
