Playing Surface for 14th ?

Just curious what the playing surface for the April 14th tournament is going to be up in Pocatello?

Grass? Turf? Dirt? et cetera...

I visited their website and it looked like dirt on at least one of the fields. I think I got the link from the UXPL site's event calendar.

images of jean comeback.... just no basketball sized rocks on the ground....although it says that they will have two new "tournament" fields for the event. i think they may mean, tournament size, and nets, but i see no turf, or grass. maybe a sage brush or two.

Allen?

Allen: Any news on the playing surface for us?

From the looks of it, the outdoor playing area is dirt according to the pics on their website (and not exactly soft dirt from what I can see).

Is that going to be the case for the UXPL?

Lol. I forgot that you guys didn't really like the indoor when you tried it out. What were the problems with it again?

the fact with the field being wider than it was long...and just a shit stack of big bunkers....it was fun ass hell if you like run through city. not a primo place for a tournament though 😉 so hopefully it is outside.

It is going to be outside weather pending. The field is either hard dirt or sand from the pics. And if it is inside UXPL is setting up the field so don't worry about "Run Through City" Peace to my homies

try asking on idahopaintball.com . Those guys go to this field a lot and should know all about how the fields are and weather or not it has grass or dirt

Dirt, probably hard dirt.

PASS sits at the base of the foothills. Last time I played there the fields had a slight slope and several small rocks. The one field outside was good sized though.

From what I hear, PASS is putting up new poles outside for two new fields. Hopefully this means that they are putting new fields out on more level ground. They are supposedly addressing the rocks too.

Inside, run through city is an understatement...
