Scenario Field

If anyone has suggestions for a Scenario Field I would love to hear them. Private property is best and within 1 1/2 hours travel from the SLC/Ogden Metro area.

It needs to accomdate the following.
1) Large area 20+ acres w/cover & terrain
2) Parking for 200 people
3) Prefer camping area
4) Free from other activities (hiking, 4 wheelers etc)
5) Road accessable by passanger cars
6) Pefer Private Property

I know its a tall order but I would like to develop 2-3 viable scenario fields in the Northern Utah area for the 2005 Paradox Games Scenario Series.

Thanks for your support!

Talk to rory over at the spec ops site, he has a field in north salt lake up on the mountianside. I don't think its quite 20 acres, but it is a possibility.

Greg there are two problems with Rory's (spec ops) field. There is not enough room for 200 people to camp there or room to park cars. Nor I don't think 200 people could even fit on his field.

Allen,
Any chance you could get the SLC airport to shut down for a few days so we could play there? Now that would be some fun Scenario gaming.
Maybe even get the use of a few airplanes too.
I'll start holding my breath right now. let me know when its set up.

Small Rec fields like the Spec ops field will not work at all. Even Bauer is not workable for a "Big scenario game". The Skull Valley field would be awesome but BLM has shut down any comercial operations there.

There is pleatny of property on the west side of the GSL but players dont want to drive out to West BFE to play..

you might look around the ogden vally for places, that not very far off the beaten path (no as fas a logan at least). If you see any place in weber county you can use their geo gizmo to try and find some contact info for the land owners: http://www.co.weber.ut.us/gis/2002/maps/gizmodisclaimer.asp
You might be able to find similar systems for other countys, but I am unaware of them.

Thanks Greg, been there done that. We ran Aliens 3 at North Fork area, 2 years ago. The Forest Service superviser was awesome!

However she was promoted and the new bastard hates paintball, hence No paintball in that area is allowed any more, and thier Insurance requirements are fairly steep for Forest Service special use Permits.

No Weber is the only county with that Geo-system, although its a cool system.
